"And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. {12} Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: {13} (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
{14} Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. {15} But not as the offence, so also is the free gift.
For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. {16} And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
{17} For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) {18} Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. {19} For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
{20} Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: {21} That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord." (Rom_5:11-21_KJV)

"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive." (1 Cor 15:22 KJV)
"{42} So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; {43} it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; {44} it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
{45} So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being" ; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
{46} The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. {47} The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven. {48} As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven, so also are those who are of heaven. {49} And just as we have borne the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness of the man from heaven." The Atonement
By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had
received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, {18}
even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspring
will be reckoned." {19} Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead,
and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death.(For KJV, see:Heb. 11:17-19) |
ATONEMENT (GREEK) - Rom. 5:11: "1242. diatheke, dee-ath-ay'-kay; from G1303; prop. a disposition, i.e. (spec.) a contract (espec. a devisory will):-- covenant, testament." [Strong's Concordance] |
First he said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did
not desire, nor were you pleased with them" (although the law required them to be made).
{9} Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He sets aside the first to
establish the second. {10} And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice
of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

"And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD." (Exo 30:10 KJV)
"And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. {8} And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat. {9} And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. {10} But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness. ![]()

{14} And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times. {15} Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the veil, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat: {16} And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness." "And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing: {6} And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin. {7} And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. ![]()
...{9} And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering. {10} And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him." I. Sin: Man has been a sinner by nature since the Fall of Adam, living in exile from Paradise (Heaven) under a curse, along with all Creation. Man's sinful, disobedient nature separates him from a personal relationship with The Holy God. |
|
| Gen. 3:14-19 |
{14}
And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this,
thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field;
upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of
thy life: {15} And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and
between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt
bruise his heel.
{16} Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. {17} And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; {18} Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; {19} In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. |
| Gen. 3:22-24 | {22} And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: {23} Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. {24} So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. (Gen 3:22-24 KJV) |
| Psalms 14:1-3 | {1} ...The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. {2} The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. {3} They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Psa. 14:1-3 KJV) |
| Psalms 58:3 | {3} The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. (Psa. 58:3 KJV) |
| Prov. 14:12 | {12} There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Prov. 14:12 KJV) |
| Isaiah 53:6 | {6} All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isa. 53:6 KJV) |
| Isaiah 59:1-2 | {1} Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: {2} But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (Isa. 59:1-2 KJV) |
| Rom. 3:9-12 | {9} What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; {10} As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: {11} There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. {12} They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Rom. 3:9-12 KJV) |
| Rom. 3:21-25 | {21} But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; {22} Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: {23} For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; {24} Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: {25} Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (Rom. 3:21-25 KJV) |
| Rom. 5:6-12 |
{6}
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
{7} For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good
man some would even dare to die. {8} But God commendeth his love toward us, in
that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. {9} Much more then, being
now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
{10} For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. {11} And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. {12} Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Rom 5:6-12 KJV) |

(John 3:16-18 KJV) |
| 2 Cor. 5:19-21 | {19} To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. {20} Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. {21} For he hath made Him [Christ] to be sin for us, Who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. (2 Cor 5:19-21 KJV) |
| Acts 4:11-12 | {11} This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. {12} Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:11-12 KJV) |
| Heb. 9:27-28 | {27} And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: {28} So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. (Heb 9:27-28 KJV) |
| 1 Pet. 2:24-25 | {24} Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. {25} For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. (1 Pet 2:24-25 KJV) |
| 1 John 2:1-2 | {1} My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: {2} And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. III. Salvation: If we believe that Jesus Christ, Son of God, Son of Adam, Messiah of Israel, died and rose again for our sins, and trust in His work on The Cross - not in our own efforts - to save us from Eternal Judgment, We know that He will answer our prayer and give us Eternal Life, as a free gift. |

| John 3:35-36 | {35} The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. {36} He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:35-36 KJV) |
| John 5:24-27 | {24} For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting (eternal) life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. {25} Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. {26} For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; {27} And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. (John 5:24-27 KJV) |
| John 6:37-40 | {37} All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. {38} For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. {39} And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. {40} And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:37-40 KJV) |
| John 10:27-30 | {27} My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: {28} And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. {29} My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. {30} I and my Father are one. (John 10:27-30 KJV) |
| John 17:1-3 | {1} These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: {2} As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. {3} And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:1-3 KJV) |
| Acts 13:47-48 | {47} For this is what the Lord has commanded us: "'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'" {48} When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed. (NIV) (For KJV, see: Acts 13:47-48 KJV) |
| Rom. 6:20-23 | {20} When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. {21} What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! {22} But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. {23} For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV) (For KJV see: Rom 6:20-23 KJV) |
| Rom. 9:30-10:4 |
{30}
What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness,
have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; {31} but Israel,
who pursued a law of righteousness, has not attained it. {32} Why not?
Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works.
They stumbled over the "stumbling stone." {33} As it is written: "See,
I lay in Zion a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them
fall, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. {2} For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. {3} Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. {4} Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. (NIV) (For KJV see: Rom 9:31-10:4 KJV) |
| Rom. 10:8-13 | {8} But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; {9} That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. {10} For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. {11} For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. {12} For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. {13} For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (NIV) (for KJV, see Rom 10:8-13 KJV) |
| Eph. 2:4-9 | {4} But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, {5} Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) {6} And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: {7} That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. {8} For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: {9} Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph 2:4-9 KJV) |
| 2 Tim. 1:7-10 | {7} For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. {8} Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; {9} Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, {10} But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: (2 Tim 1:7-10 KJV) |
| Titus 3:3-7 | {3} For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. {4} But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, {5} Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; {6} Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; {7} That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 3:3-7 KJV) |

Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart.
Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he
has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. {11} And this is
the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
{12} He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does
not have life.
{13} I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. {14} This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. {15} And if we know that he hears us -- whatever we ask -- we know that we have what we asked of him. {4} In him was life; and the life was the light of men. {5} And the light
shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
{6} There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. {7} The same came for a witness,
to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. {8}
He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
{9} That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
{10} He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
{11} He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
{14} And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
{15} John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake,
He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me. {16}
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
{17} For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

and Dwelt Among Us...
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
{2} The same was in the beginning with God. {3} All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made.
{12} But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name: {13} Which were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Amazing Grace
'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
Through many dangers, toils and snares,
The Lord has promised good to me,
Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
The world shall soon to ruin go,
When we've been there ten thousand years,
