Lately I've been using cherry wood for my puzzle spiders, much nicer than walnut I think. Recently I figured out a better way to make the legs. Click here to see how to make the spider legs easily!
This plan run $8.50
postage paid in the USA. It isn't that hard to construct, involves no carving,
only sanding. I use a 4 inch X 36 inch sander and a dremel rotary tool. Also
a drill press and a bandsaw with a
1/8 inch blade, I'm sure a scrollsaw would work too. If you live outside the USA there will be an additional charge of $.50 (50 cents) to help defray the postage differences.
