Here are 2 cherry wood puzzle snakes, one all together and one taken apart. These have about 36 to 38 pieces in each one. First you push or pull out the eye dowel, they will come apart one piece at a time. This can be a tough puzzle to put back together, notice I kept the pieces in order.

To give you an idea how good these snake puzzles can bend, one of these is on it's side, the other is on it's belly. I've used wood hardener on all my cherry puzzle snakes to make the pieces extra strong.

My grand daughter Rachel likes the wood snake puzzles, most kids do. They are about 27 inches long, will stretch out to about 29 inches. She hasn't tried to put one together though. Yet.
