LWVBR Members - 

The LWVUS recognizes two members of the LWV of Baton Rouge, La: President Jean Armstrong and Mildred Penson, who were selected by a panel of judges as 2 of 14 volunteers to be honored  at the J C Penney Golden Rule Awards ceremony in April 2000  in Baton Rouge, La.

Eileen R. Armstrong was honored at an awards luncheon in August for 50 years of membership in the League of Women Voters.
    
    Both Eileen R. Armstrong and Kate Brown received their golden  LWV-50 Year pins, which acknowledges both their membership in the LWV and their  service to the community for 50 years.
