GENERAL VOTER INFORMATION

Who may register? Anyone who is:
• A citizen of the United States and a resident of Arizona.
• 18 years of age on or before the next general election.
• Free of conviction of treason or a felony, unless civil rights have been restored.
• Not under guardianship or insane.

You must RE-REGISTER when you:
• Change your name.
• Change your address.
• Change your party affiliation.
How do you register? To register to vote by mail, obtain a registration form from government offices, libraries or the League of Women Voters. Fill out the form and mail it to the County Recorder's Office at the address shown on the form.
Mail in forms must be signed, dated and received by the County Recorder at least 29 days before the election.

To check your voter registration call the Cochise County Voter Registration Director at 432-8354.
Who may vote early? Any registered voter may vote early.
How do you get an early ballot? Request a ballot by mail from the County Recorder's Office, Bisbee, AZ 85603, or by phone 432-8350. The ballot will be mailed to you. You can fill in the ballot and mail it back, or you may vote in person in the Recorder's Office.
ID Requirements When Voting at the Polls Every voter is required to show proof of identity at the polling place before receiving a ballot. After announcing his/her name and place of residence to the election official, the voter shall present one form of identification that bears the name, address and photograph of the voter OR two different forms of identification that bear the name and address of the voter.

Acceptable forms of identification with photograph, name, and address of the voter include but are not limited to the following:
¥ Valid Arizona driver license
¥ Valid Arizona nonoperating identification license
¥ Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
¥ Valid United State federal, state, or local governmentÊissued identification

IDENTIFICATION IS ÒVALIDÓ UNLESS IT CAN BE DETERMINED ON ITS FACE THAT IT HAS EXPIRED.

Acceptable forms of identification with only name andÊaddress of the voter include but not limited to the following:
¥ Utility bill of elector that is dated within 90 days of the election. A utilityÊbill may be for electric, gas, water, solid waste, sewer, telephone, cellular phone or cable television.
¥ Bank or credit union statement that is dated within 90 days of the election
¥ Valid Arizona Vehicle Registration
¥ Indian census card
¥ Property tax statement of the electorÕs residence
¥ Tribal enrollment card or other form of tribal identification
¥ Vehicle Insurance Card
¥ RecorderÕs Certificate
¥ Valid United States federal, state, or local government issued identification,Êincluding a voter registration card issued by the county recorder
