This page from the 1924 Pittsburgh Jewish Community Book indicates that Samuel Saul was among the founders of the Beth Jehuda minyan on the North Side of Pittsburgh (Manchester) 28 years earlier (1896).  In 1924, Abraham, Max and Samuel Saul were all members.  This is a strong indication of the continued responsibility for Jewish life shown by members of the Veshasky/Saul family.  This and other documents are archived at the Historical Society of Western Pennsylvania.
