             Born in Port Hueneme, California, three time Unity Award (UCMVA) winner and recording artist Donna Lee started playing guitar and singing at the age of seven. In 1972, she joined the folk group at her parish – Holy Family in San Diego and at the age of 15 she wrote her first song for a Catholic youth retreat.

            She is one of the founding members of the Catholic Association of Musicians started by John Michael Talbot in 1996. Her music can be heard on several Catholic radio stations across the United States, Canada, Europe, and South America. She is a regular on the Catholic Familyland TV Network and has taped two segments of “Backstage” for EWTN.

            Come hear the stories behind her songs that have inspired so many people to seek god’s love, forgiveness and mercy.

The Magnificat Ministry:

In these words of the Magnificat, Mary proclaimed to Elizabeth her gratitude for the wonderful action of God in her life. Please join us at a breakfast for Catholic women of North County, San Diego, where we will share together in the same spirit of gratitude and praise of God.

After a meal, there will be a time of prayer for the needs of all present and an opportunity to hear one person's experience of the transforming love of Christ in their own life.

Please plan to come and bring a friend to rejoice in the presence of the Lord.

"Our Lady of Guadalupe, mystical rose, make intercession for the Holy Church, protect the Sovereign Pontiff, help all those who invoke you in their necessities, and since you are the ever Virgin Mary and Mother of the true God, obtain for us from your most holy Son the grace of keeping our faith, sweet hope in the midst of bitterness of life, burning charity and the precious gift of final perseverance."

Our Lady of Guadalupe: Intercessor of the unborn. To help stop the anti-life push in the world, the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen encouraged the spiritual adoption of an unborn child. This is done by praying that one particular but unknown child's life be spared abortion and be allowed to continue to live. To help accomplish this, it was recommended, an individual say the following daily prayer for a period of one year:

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion."

During your earthly life this spiritually adopted child of yours will be known only to God in the world to come it is hoped that you will meet the child whose life was spared by your prayers and spend eternal happiness with them.
