The Makanacoon family is very proud of the cats in its breeding program, and the outstanding quality of their offspring.  The majority of our kittens are Grand Champion sired, and many of our cats come from Regional and National winning lines.

Our kittens are handled, caressed and socialized early; hence, they are very people-oriented.  We are also able to introduce most of our litters to our wonderful sweet Doberman, Hulia, at around 10 weeks of age.  We feel that continuous handling and the introduction to dogs is instrumental in helping our kittens to develop excellent social skills and wonderful personalities, which make them exceptional companions for people of all ages, as well as other pets.  

Makanacoon specializes at this time in wonderful big boned, Red, Brown, and Brown Patch Tabbies with or without white.  However with the addition of Ace Mac (silver) and Boomerang (smoke high white) as breeding males, we are able to produce gorgeous coated Silver, Black, and Smokes with and without white.  Our cattery also contains both classic and mackerel patterned Maine Coons whose physical characteristics are consistent with the CFA Maine Coon breed standard and profile.
