BACKGROUND
I am a relative newcomer to the World of Warhammer. I played my first game (with borrowed and proxied units) in early 1998. The army I was drawn to first was High Elves, because of the cool models and the great history behind them. After playing about ten games with them I realized I loved Warhammer, but High Elves just weren't my style. Then I played Orcs and Goblins for a time, but I just couldn't get past the inherent goofiness and random nature of the army. Then, ostensibly by chance (more likely a Chaos plot), I happened upon the 4th edition chaos box set at a going-out-of-business sale at a local hobby shop. The price was too good to resist, so I picked it up. I read the rulebook in one night, and like Bronislav, I was hooked. Then, shortly after that, they released Realms of Chaos (for 5th edition, a dastardly plot to get more of my money).
Eventually I turned to the wonderful World Wide Web for entertainment and inspiration in my hobby madness. After a cursory search I found literally hundreds of webpages devoted to Warhammer Fantasy (and its annoying twin 40K) of varying degrees of quality. After I sifted the wheat from the chaff, I had a core group of quality sites (which can be found here) that I could refer to when I needed information, or just visit when I needed a fantasy fix. To my dismay, none of the sites I liked the best was devoted to MY army, the chaos warriors. So I waited patiently for some follower of chaos to put up a really whiz-bang chaos warriors webpage. And I waited. And waited.
I got tired of waiting. So I took my father's advice (Son, if you want something done right, do it yourself!) and set about learning HTML. The result is what you see here, and I hope you enjoy viewing it a whole lot more than I enjoyed building it.
There are countless webpages devoted to Warhammer, but there are a few that stand out. Machiara's Battle Glade, Earl Cadfael's Brettonian Army, The Herdstone, and Bugman's Brewery to name a few (all of which can be found here). These sites transcend the individual's army and have become a mecca for their Warhammer 'race', a strange attractor for anyone who has an interest in that army. I want Malkorax to become such a webpage for the Chaos 'race'.
I am going to do my level best with my limited HTML knowledge to make this the greatest Chaos site I can. I appeal to all followers of Chaos to contribute what information, inspiration, and whatever else they can in pursuit of this goal.

Special thanks to Todd Thacker and Machiara's Battle Glade for the inspiration and invaluable assistance in getting this site launched.
Thanks to the Bannerz~R~Us, Walpurgis9's Hellish Graphics, and BTGraphix, for the cool html objects and images found on this site.
Thanks to Webmonkey and HTMLGoodies for their excellent HTML tutorials. If you are an HTML illiterate like I was (and still am) these places will get you started with a good solid background.
Thanks to my wife for putting up with (and supporting) my Warhammer lunacy, even though she still doesn't understand it.
