The Chaos Portal

Down a long flight of spiral stairs to the lowest reaches of Malkorax is the Portal Chamber. The Portal itself is quite unremarkable. An upright circle crafted of a dull grey metal, carved all around with runes and symbols. It is, however, quite an extraordinary thing. It is a crossroads of a sort. All places and all planes exist simultaneously in that space inside the ring. Any who step through may be transported to literally anywhere, or anywhen. Only a handful of Chaos Sorcerors know how to successfully navigate the portal. It has been the launching pad for many chaos invasions. Step through, traveler, if you dare.
