Lake Pleasant Arizona

This lake used to be one of the best Largemouth lakes in Arizona. Back in the late 90's Scott and I fished it exclusively and had great success fishing from our float tubes. Unfortunately too many would be sportsman began fishing Lake  Pleasant, too many weekly fishing derbys and too many people NOT practicing Catch and Release have significantly reduced the number of large bass and crippled the population of many of the age class bass that do most of the reproduction in the lake.

I caught my personal best 10 pounder on Lake Pleasant in 1998. The fish was promptly returned to the lake after we took some measurements and pictures.
