AZ Property Tax Lien ALERTS
January 17, 2002 - Lien Sale Dates Posted & NTLA Annual Meeting Invitation
By Mark L. Manoil, Phoenix
Arizona Lien Sale Dates Published in One Place
We have finished our annual collection of data from the County Treasurers' Offices. You can find our list of the February lien sale dates and the publications carrying the delinquent tax lists at the following address on the tax lien primer website:
http://members.cox.net/manoil/objects/02salinf.pdf.
Additionally, to update our December 2001 Alert, the Internet address where the delinquent lists will be posted can best be accessed directly through the Arizona Newspapers Association website, at
http://www.communitypapers.com/ANANews/myarticles.asp?P=473141&S=251&PubID=2616.
(You can also reach this page through a banner ad on www.ananews.com.) The page provides an automated text search of the public notice ads from the ANA's member newspapers. It is not a searchable database from which specific reports can be generated, but you may be able to download the data and create your own such database.
Also, please note that the automatic search that has been programmed into the above page will bring up other public notices that include the search words, "delinquent" and "tax". You will have to ignore these. We are distributing this Alert before many of the publications have posted their lists on the website, so please check back if any county in which you are particularly interested has not yet been posted.
NTLA Annual Meeting Set for March 6-8 in Scottsdale, Arizona

With presentations by Maricopa County Treasurer Doug Todd and Pima County Assessor Rick Lyons, I will be discussing foreclosures and recent legal developments here.
