Bio:
Not much is known about Matt before he joined Starfleet, but what is known is that a couple of months after he was born, his parents joined the Maquis, taking him and his one year older brother Max. About three years later his parents were killed on Cardassia. Still no information on why they were there or why they were killed. However, Matt and his brother were left on a small outpost, later adopted by a visiting civilian couple.

At the age of 18, Max entered Starfleet, a year later Matt followed. Max fit in beautifully, excelling every task that was thrown at him. Matt in turn had the agonizing torture of trying to live up to his brother. Max received praise, attention, and admiration of everyone, including their adopted parents, this left Matt feeling a little neglected. At the age of 23, Max graduated first in his class and was soon assigned to the great Prometheus experiment. Matt had, had enough and he devised a plan to murder his brother. Just seconds from pulling the trigger he immediately realized how far he was actually going and left his brother, though still not accepting the good fortune that seemed to have been handed to him.

Matt knew he would never be able to kill his own brother, and that he would never be able to live in his shadow, so in turn he went to a different extreme. This time the concept would be to try to win the attention of his peers. He would end up being the, class clown, as to say. This left him showing off for his peers yet it also taught him to have little respect for authority. This left him with a never ending record, and almost being kicked out of Starfleet, however with the aid of his brother, Matt was allowed to stay. Matt continued hold bad grades, and show little or no respect for his superiors.

At the age of 25, he barley graduated last in his class. Due to a lack of effort and discipline, he has little or no skills in any fields, such as piloting, medical, science, engineering, etc., except for one. During his run at Starfleet, his aggression was the only thing that paid off. He would go to the holosuits and let off steam by training in combat simulations. He has superior skills in melee combat, weapons combat (such as phasers, disrupters, etc.), and just plain hand-to-hand combat. Without this, he would have never been able to graduate. It's also the reason why he was highly considered for the open security position on the U.S.S. Manticore, where he currently serves today. Although, because of his background, many wonder how long he'll be tolerated.

Biography
Beran Faldek was born in on Cardassia Prime in the Coranum Sector of Cardassia City. His father, Calyx Faldek, was a Legate with the Detapa Council, making him a very powerful and prestigious man. Beran grew up as a privileged child, getting whatever he wanted.

At age 12 Beran was sent to the Bemarren Institute for State Intelligence. There he was taught to master all of his feelings and thoughts. At Bemarren he was trained to be a security operative or a spy, but not just that. Bemarren was a turning point in young Beran's life. They taught him to perfect his senses and to be aware of ALL of his surroundings and also to blend in with those surroundings if need be, almost following ancient Earth Ninja practices.

There were days, and weeks of merciless and exhausting physical and weapons training. His Cardassian education focused on exploring his own anatomy extensively, learning that he has complete memories and can recall anything that has happened to him at any time. He learned to develop certain abilities such as stealth and better sight and hearing.

After three years at Bemarren, the Obsidian Order recruited Beran and started him out as a probationary operative. After Beran's first successful mission he was he had deemed "useful" by the Order. He was then outfitted with a coil, or by all means, a wire at the base of his cranium. It was called by the developer "the wire" for lack of a better term. It turned pain into pleasure, sending endorphins to the areas that readily needed them.

At age 17 on Cardassia, Beran was considered to be a man. The hostilities between Cardassia and the other major powers in the quadrant had the sky rocketed. Beran was sent on a special mission to assassinate a Romulan delegate, when a Tal`Shiar operative foiled his mission. He killed the spy and awaited further directions from the Obsidian Order, though none came.

Beran was exiled from Cardassia for his utter failure. He then started working against his former government with a member of Starfleet Intelligence. This officer and others like him sponsored Beran to become a Federation citizen. Beran then joined Starfleet Academy at the age of 20. Regardless of his ridicules and never being accepted by his peers, he surpassed.

Beran ended up joining a black operations vessel, the USS Manticore, he was sent on special assignment and rejoined as crew on the Manticore more than a year and a half after this assignment.

MC Escher was born to wealthy parents on the Earth's Moon (he is called MC because he dislikes the name Malcolm on its own). His father is a defense attorney and his mother is high up in the Federation. Escher's parents were away from home most of the time. He was looked after by a series of mentors to further his study of law and the government. He led a pampered, spoiled life, until one of his mentors intervened.

This mentor, who was named Julius Green, was a different sort of person than all of his other instructors. Julius had a son who died on board the USS Agamemnon in the line of duty.

So Julius told Malcolm of Starfleet, and adventure. He showed MC what a spoiled child he had been. He told him stories of the old days, of the exploration of the Alpha Quadrant. He told him of the hordes of fierce Klingons and the bone-chilling Romulans. At that point, Escher realized that he didn't really like law and did like biometrics and quantum DNA manipulation. He became particularly distant with his parents and developed a close bond with Julius. The two became like father and son. On his fourth and a half (actually eighteenth) birthday, Julius surprised Malcolm with a ticket to take a tour of the solar system on board a Galaxy-class ship. Malcolm's parents disproved of most space travel, and Malcolm had been in space only once before.

Malcolm left a message with his parents (who both were away for the week) and boarded the ship. Before it could take off, however, his parents found the message, were horrified, and told the local police that Julius had kidnapped Malcolm. The police stormed into Malcolm's and Julius's room and took Julius by force. Malcolm started protesting the arrest and getting in the way, and in the ensuing chaos got the scar across his face from a misfired phaser blast.

He never saw Julius again. Secretly, he applied to Starfleet Academy. On his fifth (twentieth) birthday, he ran away from home and entered the Academy, having gotten in on full scholarship. The Manticore is the second ship he has served on, after the Excalibur.

Graduated Starfleet Academy with a major in Biometrics and a minor in Quantum DNA Manipulation.

HISTORY
Dr. Ritah Lowen is the younger of two children born to Frank and Ruth Lowen. Her parents met shortly after their arrival at the New Vista Long Term Care Center located on the southern continent of Delvos Prime. Their tour at New Vista spanned a period of over thirty years. Both are recently retired from Starfleet but have chosen to remain on Delvos Prime where their children were born and raised.

Ritah's older brother, James, is a civilian research physician under contract with Starfleet to develop viable therapies for patients suffering traumatic brain injuries resulting in permanent disabilities. His research facility is attached to the New Vista Center where over half the resident patients suffer from these debilitating injuries.

Ritah graduated from Kampa University on Delvos Prime but chose to attend medical school on Earth. She graduated from her mother's alma mater, the University of Miami (Florida) Medical School and served her internship and residency in the South Florida area. After completing her medical training, Ritah was accepted into Starfleet Academy, graduating in the top ten percent of her class.

Background
(E.J. Pilot) E'jAi Pi'LuT was born in San Francisco, California, Earth. In California, The Pilot Family had a beautiful home. Pilot's father was an Asst. Engineer for Starfleet HQ & Medical. Mr. Pilot's mother was a Senior Member of Planetary Defense for Sector 001 (Earth). His father had a rank of Lieutenant pushing Lieutenant Commander eventually. Pilot's mother was rank of Commander hoping to become a Captain one day. Commissioned Starfleet Officers, his parents to be exact, surrounded Pilot. Through observation of his parents, Pilot had decided that, eventually he would like to join Starfleet Academy. However, he had not one exact clue or idea what he would want to do once getting in. Approximately 1 year before Pilot had to put in his application for Starfleet Academy, he knew what he would like to do. That evening he got the info padds from Starfleet Academy on Medical, Engineering, and Security Fields. After a long decision making process, Stardate 0209.01 Cadet

Pilot gets accepted into Starfleet Academy, he majors in Engineering and minors in Medical & Security. Stardate 0209.23 he enters the Academy for his first time beginning classes that day. After a long 2 years of studying and working hard creating simulations on the holodecks and doing intense amounts of work and doing group projects. E'jAi Pi'LuT graduates from Starfleet Academy on Stardate 0409.23. Glorious day in the Pi'LuT (Pilot) Family, the son of Solern & Jessica had earned his wings and was about to be out on his own doing what he loved; being apart of Starfleet. Immediately following his graduation on Stardate 0409.23, Pilot had put in an application to the Sovereign Class starship U.S.S. Excalibur, which he waited very patiently for a response. Finally, Stardate 0409.27, the Commanding Officer, and Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Excalibur replied to his application; they had approved his application. Cadet Pilot had applied to be Assistant Medical Officer on board the Ex
calibur. Once receiving his orders he confirmed it, he was indeed AMO (Asst. Medical Officer) on board the Excalibur on Stardate 0409.28. Pilot excelled on the Excalibur quite quickly. Stardate 0505.08 Pilot was promoted from Ensign to Lieutenant Junior Grade, a step away from being full Lieutenant, but he had earned it through his excellent performance aboard the USS Excalibur. Two months had passed, Pilot had undergone Defensive and Offensive Systems Training with Lieutenant J.G. Adrian Knight a former Asst Security Officer aboard the Excalibur. Pilot passed with the advice of Knight during a simulation of the Excalibur versus a Borg Cube, where the Picard Reman Maneuver had to be performed. Four days later, Lieutenant J.G. Pilot had been promoted to full Lieutenant. During that, time Pilot did in fact have to use his newly acquired skills of the Excalibur's Offensive and Defensive systems because he happened to be on the bridge when the ship became under attack and boarded by the Dominion. After all of that Pilot transferred to USS Manticore as Assistant Engineering Officer and is currently serving as her AENG.

Biographical Information
Vilanne was born on Terra, Earth. Her parents are NOT dead. She completed standard medical studies, and passed the medical exam the first try, but not with blazing colors or high scores, just A's and B's. She is average, in height, and weight and doesn't stand out remarkably. She finished Starfleet Training just after medical school, with thoughts of becomming a Star Fleet officer since she was a child. She's bright, but NOT a 150+ Genius type, her IQ is actually only 122. Her goal was to seek out new planetary species, study them and continue to fight disease in all the universes. Anna is the fifth child of Edmond Timothy and Aileen Corinne O'Halloran. She has 4 older brothers as well as a very large, extended family. The O'Halloran family belongs to an artisan's guild called Whelan Ltd. and lists Kilo Station, a star base situated in the Purgatory System, as their permanent address. The family also holds shares in Wolf Freight Forwarding, a subsidiary of Whelan Ltd. which is the registered owner of several freighters that travel the Alpha Quadrant along what appears to be an interstellar trade circuit.

Anna's family is descended from some of the first Terran colonists to venture into space. A colony made up of rural Irish farmers and fishermen, they left a planet that was still recovering from the post atomic horrors of the 21st century for 'greener pastures'. Unfortunately the young colony foundered on its new Class M home and was almost wiped out by sickness while awaiting Starfleet's annual check in and re-supply. They were rescued by a Bolian reconnaissance ship and eventually found their way to the star base called Kilo (Kai*lo) Station. Starfleet, upon its return to the colony, found no trace of the missing colonists other than the buried dead.

Kilo Station is a bastion of free trade that lies at a galactic crossroads, located in the Purgatory System. It's over 400 years old and is situated along a trade route through the Alpha Quadrant, occupying space in an area that recognizes no species as sovereign. Finding themselves marooned in a place where fishing and farming were not skills that translated into making a living, the surviving eight families of the Dóchas úr (New Hope) colony turned their skills at working textiles and steel into profit. They made a niche position for themselves in Kilo's trade hierarchy by hand crafting edged weapons and exquisitely decorated fabric. The decision was made to form their own community within that of Kilo Station's alien population and govern it by Clan law, with each of the eight families sitting a member on the Council that would in turn elect one Chief. The first Chief was Sean Whelan and the Clan name still remains the same. Families retain the use of their own surnames but are bound together as Clan Whelan or Clann ó Faoláin, the Wolf Clan.
