Casner Mountain

Trail Difficult

Trail Description

The heart of this trail follows an old powerline road between two wilderness areas from west of Sedona to south of Flagstaff. There is an 8 mile section that is between locked gates that keep it closed to trucks and Jeeps, quads can skirt around the gates legally. This is the more difficult part of the trail, the rest is normal forest service roads. This section is bumpy and rocky, with a couple pretty good climbs and spectacular views. A Red Rock Pass is needed to park on the bottom side. Many of the roads have horizontal numbers, my understanding is that you should be street legal, it's your choice.
