Trail Description

The first 11 miles of the this trail well get your attention! Then you get to rest for a bit them right back at it again.  Lots of places to get into trouble on this trail so be careful.  This route take you to Roger Trail Head which is a hiking trail that goes from Mexico to Utah. Pretty neat to see. We made the trip back to the staging area by way of the ridge which is a hell of a ride. This trail was about 45 miles in length. Part of this trail is the same as Queen Valley trail, that is the only easy part of the trail.
Directions:  Superstition Fwy (E US 60) past Florence Junction, turn left off of 60 on N Queen Valley Rd just before the railroad tracks.  Take the Queen Valley turn-off, about 1.8 miles to the Hewitt Station turnoff (FR 357) branches off to the right, turns to gravel, follow it for 3.1 miles to Rogers Trough turnoff (FR 172) Stage there at the wash.
