Girls Athletics 1952

GAA is the feminine counterpart of the boys interscholastic athletics of the school. Each Monday and Wednesday afternoon the girls study, practice and play sports that are in season. Several times during the school year the Lincoln GAA participates in "Play Day." At these times the GAA from several schools meet at a school for interschool contests in the sports crrently in season. The play days are also used as social meetings, and refreshments are served. These play days enable the girls of the participating schools to get acquainted and get the point of view of the girls of other schools.
