Requisite Construction Pictures

Almost everybody puts pictures of "pond under construction" on their web site. The basic idea is to dig a hole, put in a waterproof liner of some type, put a buncha rocks and stuff around the edges, and fill 'er up.

You can spend a lot, or spend a little. You can load up with every type of gizmo and gadget known to humankind, or you can try to use Nature's methods.

You can go for the formal swimming pool look with maybe a statue or two spitting water into the pond, or you can go informal and natural in appearance.

You can be successful and happy about your new pond, or you can watch every living creature die in a bowl of green pea soup while cursing the day you ever thought a pond would bring you beauty and serenity.

My approach? Thanks for asking.

Spend a little...

Use Nature's methods...

Natural appearance...

Happiness and serenity.

Now on to the show. For your viewing pleasure here are some pictures of holes in the ground and piles of dirt that came out of them............
