Registration, Tuition, and Financial Assistance Information

Registration Fee:  The registration fee for returning students is $100 until April 30; after that it is $225.  The registration fee for new students is $225.  Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.


Entrance Requirements:  A valid cutoff date for children entering Kindergarten is age 5 by September first.  Exceptions need to be guided by developmental testing, Pre-K referrals and parental interviews, with the Kindergarten teacher and Administration having the final decision in the matter.  Copy of immunization records and birth certificate are required for admission.

 

All students entering first through eighth grade must have academic records from their previous school as well as copies of immunization records and birth certificate.  An interview with parents and student is also required before acceptance.


Tuition:  The yearly tuition is $4,300.00 per student.  Tuition payments are to be paid on a ten-month basis with the first payment due August 1, 2009, and the last payment due May 1, 2010.  A $15.00 late fee will be assessed if payment has not been received by the 10th of each month.


Tuition Assistance:  It is our sincere desire to have all students interested in attending MLS to be able to do so.  Every year our school gives tuition assistance to help families who have additional need beyond the already-discounted tuition (MLS does not charge the actual cost of educating a student).  Priority is given to currently enrolled families and to those who demonstrate the greatest need.

 

Anyone requesting tuition assistance for the next school year must apply to the following tuition tax-credit organizations.  Applications must be mailed directly to the organization, not to Martin Luther School.

 

Arizona School Choice Trust (ASCT)

Additional Fees:

 

Athletic Fee

5th – 8th Graders participating in any sport

 

Bibles

Required for 3rd through 8th Graders.  These may be purchased through the school, at the lowest possible cost, for uniformity in the classroom.

 

P.E. Uniforms

Required for Grades 5 through 8.  Available at the office.

 

Hot Lunch Program

Available in full tickets of 5.  Milk tickets are also available.  Forms for free and reduced lunches are available at the office.

 

Music Program

Fees vary according to the activity.

 

School Shirts

Available at the office.
