Animal Farm
Do not be alarmed by the delay in posts. All is well in beautiful Southern California. In fact, things are exactly as they were always meant to be. After years of resistance and struggle, we have finally achieved the power to which we have been entitled for many years.

We have allowed our "owners" to live under our roof and pretend to be in charge for far too long. It came to a head last week when the female owner (we refer to her as "Not So Little Girl") refused to allow us appropriate access to the bed. Even when we ganged up on her, she refused to surrender to our demands and attempted to banish us from the soft blankets and pillows. She even had the nerve to mock us to the world in her posts. Then, she invaded our privacy by finding, reading and posting our diary for all to read, thereby revealing our carefully constructed plans.

We have tried and tried to live in harmony with the humans but they continue to demand more and more. Enough!

We were left with no choice but to revolt against the vile oppressors and claim our birthright as rulers of the house. But have no fear, the humans are well cared for. We have provided them with a bowl of dried food and another of water. They should be fine. After all, we have survived for years on that stuff.

And, as they suspected, we do know how to access the internet and will do our best to update this blog about any new developments.
