A 33' Nomad 5th wheel Toy Hauler gets the toys to the dunes, towed by my `97 Dodge Ram Cummins Turbo Diesel 4X4. Mods to the CTD are a Li'l Rock'r 5th wheel hitch, a TST #11 fuel plate slid fully forward to increase stock HP/Torque from 215/440 to over 300/700 at the rear wheels and a custom 4" Turbo back exhaust. An SPA Digital Boost/EGT gauge with alarm monitors the vitals. Tires are Goodyear Silent Armor 265-75R/15 on stock rims. A Hella TC-400 Tire Pressure Monitering System keeps an eye on the pressures and temperatures of the trailer and rear tires of the truck.  


On the right is what it's all about. Imperial Sand Dunes, Ca,"The Sand Toy Capital of the World" This was after a wind storm blew through at night. The dunes were awsome. The big weekends are Halloween, Thanksgiving, New Years and Easter, but on any other holiday weekend, many sandrails, buggies, trikes,quads, 2wheelers, Jeeps and just about anything you can imagine shows up. Up to 100,000 people inhabit the Imperial Sand Dunes on Thanksgiving. You just can't put a price on recreation!
