Tryout Information

Rising WAGS U-19,
currently playing up in WAGS U-19 Division 1 McLean Spirit will conduct open
tryouts for its Fall 2007 season. The
team is professionally coached by ODP coach Alberto Starace, whose WCAC
Champion Bishop O’Connell Lady Knights are ranked #1 in region and #4
nationally.
Though it’s optional,
candidates are asked to submit a tryout request including recent soccer
experience, position(s) played, and any other relevant information via email to
mcleanspirit@cox.net. Alternatively, please complete the tryout
form available here and
bring with you to the tryouts. All
inquiries will be held in strictest confidence. Please include complete contact information so we can contact you
if the tryout schedule changes, and indicate which session(s) you plan to
attend. Candidates are encouraged to
attend more than one tryout session.

Beltway to Exit 46. Take Rte 123 North towards
McLean. At fourth traffic light turn right onto Great Falls Street. Proceed one
block and turn left on Chain Bridge Road. The park entrance is on the right.
Field #2 has lights and artificial turf.

Exit Beltway at Exit
46, Rte 123 towards McLean. At the 4th traffic light, turn left on to
Lewinsville Road. Proceed 2 miles to Spring Hill Elem School on left. Park at
school. Field is on right of school and the furthest of the two fields on the
right.
ALTERNATE, BETTER ROUTE - Exit Beltway at Exit 45A (VA-267W - .25 toll) towards Dulles Airport. Take first exit (exit 17) Spring Hill Road. Turn right on to Spring Hill Road. Field is at next intersection with Lewinsville Road. Turn right on Lewinsville Road park at Spring Hill Elem School on right.
