The article was written by Andy Lennon and the title is "Choose the right prop for your engine". While I agree this nomograph is fairly accurate for light and clean aircraft, it may be a little fast for normal aircraft. Many people figure the approximate speed with a formula using the pitch and RPM and this seems fairly accurate for typical aircraft. While a radar gun and timed half mile runs with my Shrike and Diamond Dust show the Andy Lennon's chart close, the same Jett .46 engine on my Swizzle Stick is much slower.
