Buon Giorno Amici,

 

           As I sat down to write this message, I thought "What am I going to say?". Suddenly it struck me that June 15th is Father's Day! So I will say Happy Father's Day to all of the Fathers out there and share some of my feelings about being a Father and proud Grandfather.

           We just returned from a wonderful 8 days with my son and grand-children in Rochester, New York. We went to watch them play baseball before they move on to bigger and better things in their lives. Naturally we were very proud of them all. Katie, Sarah, Vince and Nick ( now in college) certainly know how to warm a Grandfather's heart! Of course our girls out here, Heather, Julie, Corey and Allie do a great job of that also and we are equally proud of them. Last but certainly not least are my beloved children, Paulette, Camille and Perry ( proud Father of the ball players).

           So there is my tribute to myself and all of you Father's out there. But least we forget, I must pay a belated tribute to all of the Mother's out there who made Fatherhood possible. Forgive me for missing you last month and know that you are all very special to all of us and we thank you for all that you do for us and for our children.
