           Can you believe it?! It is Heart Month already, seems like we were just getting ready for the holidays!

 

           Heart Month brings us many good things: Valentines Day, Cardiac Rehab Week and the annual Doctor's Round Table Discussion. This years panel will once again consist of a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, a Cardiologist and an Endocrinologist. This is always an event not to be missed and remember it is open to the public so get there early for a good seat.

 

           Cardiac Rehabilitation Week is February 8th to the 14th and the theme this year is "The Pulse of Life". This is a good time to show our appreciation to those professionals who dedicate themselves to maintaining that "Pulse of Life". I am prejudice, but Mission Hospital has one of the finest teams there is. Headed by "SWMBO" Carol Catalano who is strongly supported by Terry McKeever, Elaine Gotro, Jim Barnett, Helen Scotece, Phyllis Wachenheim, Lee Walsh, Bonnee Nelson, Sue Archbold and the "new kid" Penny Weeks. We send our "HEARTFELT THANKS" for all that you do to keep that pulse going. Also, Thanks to Mission Hospital for the continued support of the program and our Mended Hearts Chapter.

 

           So this month you need to hug a Mended Heart as usual and also special hugs to all of our Valentines out there. "It's great to be alive and to help others!!"
