Mrs. Celia Sharp, 81, widow of the late George Sharp, died at the Plainview Hospital and Clinic Foundation Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

Funeral Services are scheduled at 6 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church chapel, the Reverend Harlan Harris officiating. The body will lie in state until time for the funeral at the Lemons Funeral Home which is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Sharp was born in Tennessee January 20, 1874. She has resided in Plainview since immediately after her marriage to George Sharp about 25 years ago.

She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge. At the time of her death she resided at 709 Baltimore.

Mrs. Sharp suffered strokes last January and June and had been in poor health since the latter illness. She was stricken again last Saturday and was taken to the hospital where succeeding attacks caused her death.
