To the
Honorable R. F. Milam, Judge of said Court:
Your petitioner, G. C. Sharp, would respectfully show to the court that
Ida I. Sharp died in
That at the time of the death of said Ida I. Sharp,
she was seized and possessed of an estate consisting; of personal property and
real estate all of which is situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and is of the
probable value of $5000.00.
That the said Ida I. Sharp, prior to her death on to wit, the 26th day of October, 1903, duly
made and executed a written will by which she made disposition of all of her
estate both personal and real property which said will is herewith filed and
made a part of this application. That at the time of the execution of the said
will by the said Ida I. Sharp, she was over 21 years of age and of sound mind.
That the said will was executed under the formalities and solemnities and under
the conditions required by law to make the same a legal and valid will. It is
also provided in said will that no other action be had in the County Court in
the administration of the said estate than to prove and record this will and
return an inventory and appraisement of said estate and list of claims.
That in said will your petitioner who resides in
That your petitioner is the surviving husband of the said Ida I. Sharp,
deceased, and is in nowise disqualified from receiving letters testamentary
upon said will and estate.
Wherefore premises considered your petitioner prays that due and legal
notice of the filing of this application be made in accordance with law and
that said will be admitted to probate and to record upon the minutes of the
County Court of Tarrant County, Texas, and that your petitioner be appointed
independent executor of said will and estate and that all other and further
orders be made as to the court may seem right and proper.
