Voice Lessons
Meredith offers instruction in classical, jazz, pop,
and broadway vocal styles with an emphasis on
bodily sensation during relaxation, posture, and
breathing technical exercises.
Students experience a variety of styles, advancing
skills in expression and musical interpretation
throughout a variety of genres.
Students under age 13-14 (the age when the voice
changes) are engouraged to focus on ear training and
breathing technique, as complex stylization training
can lead to damage of the vocal chords by over-
stressing the underdeveloped voice.
