8 June: Venus transit between 7:06 and 7:26 Georgia time. To find the MGAS observation site at the sod farm, take I-75 South to the GA 96 exit, turn left, drive about a half-mile past a campground, and turn right into a sandy dirt road. There is a large field of grass and maybe some irrigation equipment. If weather is inclement or if you cannot make it to the site, see the Exploratorium for a real-time webcast of the event. You can also see the transit from the vantage point of a satellite. Other webcasts from Europe and Asia are available from Spaceweather. Also check out our links to the Sun.
