Hi folks, my name's Michael! Or at least I think it is!!
I'm gonna be born about the first week of October, 2002, so I'll get my
official name then. But I like the name Michael. Do you?
Anyway, I thought you might want to see some pictures
of me. Yep, pretty obnoxious, huh? I'm not even born yet and my parents
are making you look at my pictures! Well, I guess we better all get used
to it, 'cause I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot more photos to come!
All these pictures were taken on April 25, when my Mom
was 16 weeks and 3 days pregnant. That means I had actually been growing
in her tummy about 14 weeks.

Here's another profile of me, but this time you can see
that my mouth is open. I wish I had video to show you, because then you
could see that I'm actually yawning! (But don't tell Mom and Dad, because
they were pretty excited about all this. Parents are weird, aren't they?)

| Now, I'll bet your wondering how everybody
knows that I'm a boy, even though I'm not even born yet. Well, basically
they tell the old fashioned way -- by looking between my legs! Here's a

Isn't it neat how they took all these pictures, even though
I'm still in Mommy's tummy? They use something fancy called "ultrasound".
This one was done by a really fancy kind called "level 2 ultrasound." Basically,
they shoot some sound waves down into Mommy's tummy and see how long they
take to bounce back. That way they can more or less figure out where my
various parts are. And it's not even noisy -- actually, I usually sleep
through them!!
