Dangerous Blood

Dangerous Blood is a romantic action thriller about two brothers who are the heirs of the English Royal jeweler.  When the brothers fall in love with the same girl, their thirst for competition turns into a game of death. 

MICHAEL and ZANE Durant are heirs to the English Royal jeweler.  The boys’ American father, FRANK, married into money by wedding their mother, GRACE, a direct descendent of the jeweler to the English Royal Family.  Frank, a gambler, teaches his kids that competition is the only way of life and the boys eagerly comply.

When Grace divorces Frank, Michael decides to stay at home to attend Oxford, while Zane makes the journey to the U.S. to enroll at Yale.  Both succeed in school and both become celebrated polo stars.  

After graduation, Zane and Michael find themselves competing against each other at the World Polo Finals.  Due to Zane’s dirty trick, Michael takes a fall off his horse and is rendered comatose.   Shortly after, the boys’ mother, Grace, dies.  During a hospital visit by Zane's ex-girlfriend, VICTORIA, Michael regains consciousness.  

Alone and confined to a wheelchair, Michael starts drinking beginning an extended period of hardship.  During this time, Victoria visits Michael and presents him with a puppy hoping it will cheer him up.  It works, as Michael begins to rehabilitate and regains his spirit.  Michael and Victoria spend more time together.  

Since his awakening, Michael begins experiencing supernatural phenomena where his daydreams actually occur.  Michael decides to act on his insights and is able to prevent several potential tragedies.  Victoria and Michael decide to marry and announce their engagement to Zane.  

When Victoria goes for  a horseback ride in the woods, she is kidnapped.  She is taken to a summerhouse by the sea.  When she discovers that Zane is behind the kidnapping, he professes his love to her as his justification.  

Michael is able to rescue Victoria, but ends up killing Zane in a scuffle.  Overwhelmed, Victoria disappears from London to find a new life. 

Rigorously, Michael searches in vain to find her.  To escape his pains, Michael takes over the family business and buries himself in work.    

After three years, Michael is visiting a girl on the island of Capri where he bumps into Victoria, who is accompanied by a male friend.  They agree to meet for a short dinner that evening, and Victoria describes her around the world sailing trip that has brought her to the island. Over the course of dinner, Michaell rediscovers his feelings for Victoria, but he is unable to spend any time with her alone.

The next day, Michael assumes Victoria has departed.  Feeling lost, Michael strolls along the waterfront when Victoria sails into view from behind the rocks on a vintage sailboat to pick him up.
