Friday, January 31, 2006 Welcome!

Greetings and welcome to my page on the world wide web. I've been working at teaching myself HTML since 1995 and I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. Seriously though, I've designed hundreds of sites for myself, for friends, and for a few businesses, and it's all been a lot of fun.

I work for the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT) as a web site designer and application developer. I love my job, and am happy to get paid to do what I love doing: coding. We're currently working with Macromedia Flex and ColdFusion to build Rich Internet Applications, in addition to using PHP and JSP to build dynamic pages.

I built this current site when I was an instructor at New Horizons to practice what I was teaching: HTML, JavaScript and XML, and to assist my students with additional references and resources. Those are now linked under more links.

I'm also using the site to make available programming projects, learning resources and free programs I work on in my spare time for fun or profit.
