Crystal Reports allows you to export to various formats; PDF, HTML, Excel spreadsheets, etc. Doing this manually every week, every day or worse, every hour, can be quite a hassle. Microsoft was wonderful in re-incorporating Crystal Reports back into Visual Studio with .NET so I created an automated program to do all the work for me.

Glass Spider allows me to select the reports I want to schedule for conversion, select the format I want, set my export schedule, then allows me to go about my business, converting the reports automatically on schedule, running on screen as a small status window, or silently in the system tray if I so desire.

From the system tray icon I can reset my settings, run reports immediately, or display the status window.
