Mike Wasinski


I really love my job. I know a lot of people who can't say that, so I consider myself quite fortunate. Now I don't mean to say that if I won the Lotto I would continue working, but if I have to work, I'm quite content with where I am, thank you. I am a Network Systems and Media Support Technician at Thurgood Marshall Middle School in the San Diego Unified School District. It's by far the longest title I've ever had.
What I do is a little of this and a lot of that, and the variety suits me fine. In the course of a day I might be teaching a Media Production class, troubleshooting a computer networking problem, helping students edit a program, creating public relations materials, and having lunch with a rather fun assortment of co-workers.
