Camp Construction
This is the area as it looked when we arrived to build the camp.
This is the flooring as it was being applied. The floor joist are 2 x 10 construction and the flooring is 1 x 8 pine.
After the flooring comes the four walls. The walls are of 2 x 6 construction.
This is the center wall being constructed as the camp was designed to be two rooms of 15 feet by 20 feet.
This is the roof construction. Rafters are 2 x 6 and 16 inches on center as is the rest of the building. The roofing is a product called Onduline.
The is a photo of the finish product after one week of work by the four Yahoo's on the steps leading to the front door.
This is the finish Camp as we left it in 1989 after one week of construction (excluding the pilings and floor).
