The Cameron Lumber yard was owned at one time by Minco's J. B. "Judge" Pope.

Looking southeast from Minco's present stoplight corner.   The building on the left is part of the lumber yard, and it's second floor was used in the 1890s for plays, traveling road shows, and graduation exercises for El Meta Bond College.

This building of the Cameron Lumber Yard is located about where the Legion Hut is located now.
