Gregory B. Allard of the American Group responded today to my e-mail, informing me that Putts Up Dock, a course in Norwich which I liked, is closed for good. Part of the course was destroyed by fire late last year, and apparently they aren't going to rebuild.

This is very upsetting. I've been to this course twice and it was a lot of fun. I wonder if the fire was caused by the volcano.
