Unlike some implementations of the IF97 equations, ASTEM97 (including Version 1.x) uses optimized coding to improve computational speed.

ASTEM97 Version 2.0 is available for use with Borland® C/C++ or Microsoft Visual® C/C++, Borland® Delphi, Microsoft Visual Basic®, Microsoft Excel® and MathSoft® Mathcad. version 8 or higher.

ASTEM97 Version 2 is compatible with Mathcad Version 13.

ASTEM97 Version 2.0 includes all IAPWS IF97 releases through July 2005.

ASTEM97 Version 2.0 also includes additional input checking and some routines have been revised to detect possible user input error.
