Division badges are awarded during the Marine Corps' Annual Division Competitions. The Divisions consist of the Far East, Pacific, Western and Eastern Divisions. The first ten percent of the highest scoring competitors in a division competition are awarded the badge. Of the ten percent, one-sixth receive the gold badge, one-third receive the silver badge, and one-half receive the bronze badge.
