- Left: Interstate 5 just north of CA 55 at the 1st and 4th Street, Santa Ana exits in 1984. Built in 1953.
- Right: Interstate 5 / CA 55 interchange in 1987. Built in the mid 1950s when it was a rural interchange.

The 5/55 interchange was rebuilt in 1996 with carpool connectors elevated past the 1st and 4th Street exits.

Same CA 133 / I-5 interchange in 1991 while I-5 was being rebuilt. This bridge was torn down and replaced later that year.

Railroad bridge at northbound Interstate 5's entrance to Tustin. Built in the mid 1950s and removed in 1991. This used to be the dividing line between the orange groves and the suburbs.

The CA 73 exit ramps were built when I-405 was constructed in 1968. They didn't connect to anything until the CA 73 freeway opened in 1978. Photo taken in 1976.
