Malaysia
All photos and observations on this page are based on a half-day trip taken from Singapore to Johor Bahru, just north of the border.
- Malaysian freeway. Malaysia uses the same type of bridge rail as some states in the US.
- Malaysia route J1. An oddity here is the traffic light is mounted for right side driving.

- Malaysia uses a similar font to that used in the US. Green signs appear to refer to freeways, as opposed to blue signs used otherwise. White signs are apparently for points of interest. The shape of the Malaysian route sign is similar to the shield used on New York state highways.
