Signs along the Autostrada
Part 1 Part 2

Left to right:
- A numbered exit on the A-G.R.A. beltway in Rome. Uscita is Italian for exit. The sign points that this exit will take you to route A1/E35 to go to Florence (Firenze). The target indicates this is the way to the center of Rome (Roma), the bed indicates a hospital, and the train indicates a railroad station is this way. This is on a white background because these are reached by non-primary routes. The SS route exit is on a blue background, and calls out a street name (Casilina), rather than a town name, so it is not all in caps.
- This sign is on an "SS" route, so it is blue. This sign is not on route A1, but it will take you to it. SS3bis/E45 north of Terni
- This is on route A1/E35 north of Rome, but only the E route is identified.

- Left: Southbound A1/E45 east of Rome. E45 goes to Naples (Napoli).
- Right: Overhead sign incorporating a traffic signal. All four directions at this signal had a similar sign to this one. SS16 in Ravenna

- Left: Start of A11 in Pisa heading east for Florence (Firenze).
- Right: A4/E70 headed east to Venice (Venezia).

- Left: Busy sign at the A1/A11 interchange in Florence.
- Right: An Agip gas station in the background with it's logo of a six leg dog.

- Left: SS1 follows the west coast of Italy, and apparently it is named Via Aurelia. Westbound E76/A11 overheads have route SS1 called out, but E76/A11 is not SS1, it just takes you to it (SS1 is the destination).
- Right: A sign on A1 near Bologna.

Standard signbridge design. A11/E76 west of Florence
