New At Eleven! Troop 11 Coventry is back on line. We are dedicated to
serving the youth of Coventry and neighboring towns in Shawomet District. We
are part of
Narragansett Council, BSA. We meet
each Thursday at 7:00PM at Sts. John & Paul Parish Center. The rule is–
If there’s school, there’s Scouts! We camp year-round in various forms. Troop
11 is a two-time Elmo’s Troop of the Week winner at Camp Yawgoog. We have also been recognized as an Honor Troop. If you

Troop
of the Week!!!!! Again For the second year in a row, Troop 11 Coventry was
awarded Troop of the Week at Camp Yawgoog. This is a great achievement for
the scouts. There are no fewer than a dozen troops from all over the country
in Medicine Bow during week four. This award says a lot about our scouts,
their SPL, their Scoutmaster, who all worked hard and played hard; not just
ay Yawgoog, but the whole Scouting year. Troop11 wins Mountain Man Camporee For the first time in anyone’s recent memory, Troop 11
won the spring camporee outright. Our scouts finished first (as patrols) in
four events, 2nd in two events, and third in one.. This is a tribute to the
hard work they put in all year learning about teamwork, and honing their
scout skills. |
