Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 Cup Nucoa (Margarine)
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
1/2 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1 Egg
1 1/4 Cup Flour
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt

Cream nucoa , sugars together. Add peanut butter and egg. Sift flour, soda, salt and baking powder together and add to mixture. Form into a roll, chill, slice and bake.

I found this in my Mom's old handwritten recipe book. These were my Dad's favorite cookies.
All o f these recipes assume a good understanding of baking techniques because they mostly don't give any baking times or temps.
