Emergencies!
With very few exceptions, medical and surgical emergencies cannot be treated at home!
Even though I am mobile, I am not an emergency ambulatory service.
Thus, I am unable to accommodate all immediate emergencies. I try
to see all patients on an appointment basis and will see non-life
threatening emergencies as present time, schedule and location allow
If your pet has any of the following problems, don't reach for the
phone. Take your pet directly to an animal hospital for assistance:
Major trauma (hit by car, broken leg, attacked by
animal, etc.)
Uncontrollable bleeding
Difficult, rapid or labored breathing
Disorientation, weakness or seizures
Loss of consciousness, stupor
Severe vomiting or diarrhea
Venomous snake, spider or insect bite
