Lois’s Web 6” or 7" Square

H hook for 7” square

F hook for 6” square or G hook and leave off round 9

small amount of 2 colors OR you can use just one color

V-Stitch (dc, ch 1, dc) 

Rnd 1:  Ch 5, (dc, ch 1) in beg ch 7 times, sl st to 4th ch of beg ch-5 to join.  (8 dcs, 8 ch-1 sps) 

Rnd 2:  Ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in each dc and ch-1 sp around, sl st to beg sc to join.  (16 scs, 16 ch-1 sps). 

Rnd 3:  Sl st into beg ch-1 sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 1) in each ch-1 sp, sl st to beg sc to join.  (16 scs, 16 ch-1 sps) 

Rnd 4:  Sl st into beg ch-1 sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 2) in each ch-1 sp, sl st to beg sc to join.  (16 scs, 16 ch-2 sps) 

Rnd 5:  Sl st into beg ch-2 sp, ch 1, *sc in same sp, ch 4, (sc in next sp, ch 2) 3 times,* rpt btwn *'s 3 times, sl st to beg sc to join, fasten off if using 2 colors. 

Rnd 6:  Attach color B w/ a sl st in any ch-4 sp, (ch 3, dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same sp, V-st in each of next 3 ch-2 sps; *(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next ch-4 sp, V-st in each of next 3 ch-2 sps,* rpt btwn *'s twice, sl st to top of beg ch-3 to join. 

Rnd 7:  Ch 3, dc in next dc, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next corner sp, dc in each of next 2 dcs, V-st in each of next 3 V-sts, *dc in each of next 2 dcs, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next corner sp, dc in each of next 2 dcs, V-st in each of next 3 V-sts*, rpt btwn *'s twice more, but on the last time stop after the V-sts, join w/ sl st to top of beg ch-3. 

Rnd 8:  Ch 3, dc in each of next 3 dcs, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next corner sp, dc in each of next 4 dcs, V-st in each of next 3 V-sts, *dc in each of next 4 dcs, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next corner sp, dc in each of next 4 dcs, V-st in each of next 3 V-sts,* rpt btwn *’s twice more, but on the last time stop after the V-sts, join w/ sl st to top of beg ch-3, fasten off color B.

Rnd 9:  Attach color A in any st, ch 1, sc in same st, sc in each st and sp around, (sc, ch 2, sc) in each corner sp around.
