IN EVOLUTION

WHO-WHAT IS THE BEAST? 
PART VI

*Ed. note; Try to have a good dictionary with you while reading this treatise.

Have you wondered why the "Missing Link" (the "missing" man-ape connecting Australopithecus-monkey to Homo erectus - early man) is truly still missing? Because it never existed! Oh sure, here of late, at the toes of time, scientists are grabbing at straws (see Jul.-Aug. 2002 YEA Newsletter) like Aridipithecus ramidus kadabba and Orrorin tugenesis (We’ll go into why and how these names in Latin are established, at later date). From personal experience I know that dinosaurs of huge mass and height have been literally constructed from a half of a lower jaw and 2 teeth, or a single shin bone!

The scientists claim they can take bone mass (even though each cell has been replaced by earth minerals - called permineralization or petrified) and bone shape, to complete, the proportions and look of a certain animal or humanoid. BUNK! In the early days they had to use their "logic," but now they have programmed their "logic" into computers and "lo’ and behold," the computers say the same things, just with greater projected detail.

First, let us see how far back evolutionary thought goes. Concepts of organic evolution are stated in writings of the ancient Greeks. One such was from Anaximander (6-11-547 B.C.). He taught life arose from mud warmed in the sun. Much later, the theory was clearly outlined in scientific form by Jean Baptiste de Larmarck (1744-1829). He wrote his treatise on invertebrates, and his theory developed between 1801-1815 (followed 1/2 century later by C. Darwin and Alfred R. Wallace). This Lamarckism is the theory of "the inheritance of acquired characteristics." No doubt animals sub-species evolve, somewhat, in their own species, due to changing environmental differences, but even this treatise did not address a species evolving into a totally new species. A question, brethren, Which would logically evolve more completely and quickly, a simple organism like an invertebrate or a complex organism like a vertebrate!? (Please refer to Bro. Healan’s Jul.-Aug. 2002 article to establish that this is all theory, and other points, and their implications).

Charles Darwin (1809-1882) (a man who believed in a Creator, but was more logic-bound than spiritually-bound) praised Lamarck and wrote the now infamous "The Origin of Species by Natural Selection" in 1859. This was only one of 20+ books he wrote over his lifetime! Can anyone name more than one, brethren? Darwin was quoted, saying he saw a "granduer in this view of life with its several powers, having been originally breathed by the Creator into a few forms."

Darwin’s book in 1859 was the first to outline the radical concept of one species, over time, becoming a new species. It was the mathematical odds of these changes that threw a "monkey wrench" (pun intended) in not only the theory, but Darwin’s own mind as to how this could happen. It was later in life that he allowed the concept of a Creator to enter into his thoughts, and some of his writings (mostly essays). Even he was amazed at how his earlier book "Origin of Species" overshadowed his entire compendium of scientific theories brought forth in his lifetime!

The theory of "Natural Selection" is summed up in the phrase "the survival of the fittest," but even it can only show variations within the same species, where true mutants (retards, so to speak) did NOT evolve to new species but invariably died out due to lacking essential stabilities as; reproduction, food assimilation, and in some cases poisoning (like the Ammonite cephalopods who developed an anus above its mouth thus poisoning its own system and nearly dying out except for the modern Nautalis) found in its original forms.

J. Gregor Mendal (1822-1884) added to Darwin by his experiments with garden peas (great substantiation for evolution, huh?). Mendel was a Moravian Monk (-ey?) and printed his findings in 1865 unknown to Darwin and unheeded till 1900.

Linne’, in his theory, was less sure that one species could turn into another different species. He stated that he found evidence that species (or at least genera) were individually created, thus coming closer to the truth, that if it must be said outright, there is a "forest" of evolution, rather than one tree of evolution. We need to pay close attention that science reveres the "gene" over the chromosome (which seems absurd since only animals of the same number of chromosomes can reproduce!) A gene is a portion of a DNA molecule directing the formation of a specific enzyme, which in turn regulates aspects of a cell’s growth, metabolism, and reproduction. Genes link together to form larger units called chromosomes (the central axis of which consists of a very long DNA molecule comprising hundreds of genes). So thus, disruptions of these processes are called mutations. Mutation as a basis for evolution was first proposed by Hugo DeVries in 1901 from experiments on a primrose plant (garden peas, primrose plants. No wonder scientists can believe man came from monkeys!)

Finally, for simplicity’s sake (and believe me scientists have really muddied the evolutionary waters with myriad exceptions, postulations, theories and outright lies) we will lastly deal with Dollo’s Law.

Dollo was the first to state the irreversibility of evolution. He stated that evolution NEVER plays its record in reverse (which we will endeavor to show this for the bunk that it is, even playing by "their" own rules!). Dollo’s Law is the mainstay, or the keystone, upon which the entire premise of evolutionary theory rests. Once this is shot down the rest of science’s premises and hypotheses are shown to be a house of cards and fall accordingly. Dollo further states that when a group of organisms once lose a sketal part or organ it is never regained - wrong again!

Here is the first shot in our counter-evolutionary shooting gallery. Dollo decides to base this above stated "fact" by using the foraminifer group! It is only later in your university education that they tell you that Foraminifera (and Radiolaria, also used by Dollo) are literally the smallest organized group of organisms that there are on the face of the planet, as well as the most widely distributed. Their size and distribution, in many varying environments, mean also they are the most susceptible to change within their species. The overwhelming majority of these groups have a diameter of less than 1mm across. These creatures are also very important to oil exploration since around 1915 (but that’s another story!).

The forward progression of changes in a species, which in "their’ eyes would warrant naming a new species is curious, because if a sub-species can become a new species, why are there so many co-existing species which these other species supposedly have evolved from? One such example is the freak bird/lizard Archaeopteryx. By science’s standards birds evolved from lizards, scales turning into feathers and the lizard-like head of this creature features rows of teeth (hen’s teeth aren’t so scarce in science it seems!). Well, only one or two other similar species have ever been found, yet they base this theory on one such freak. There is no doubt species become extinct (the Dodo Bird and many others) but how do they explain lizards existing before AND AFTER Archaeopteryx? They don’t! The German word for "bat" is "fledermous" (flying mouse) and science tells us bats evolved from such creatures. If so, why do mice exist (in abundance) once they moved on to having wings?

Long before the Scopes trial, Satan’s scientists knew they could not further Darwin’s theory by truly producing physical evidence. So they did the next best thing and made a "media" campaign of the whole issue to get this theory taught in our schools (a hard thing to do without commercial TV in those days!).

Tennessee had passed a state law forbidding the teaching of the doctrine of evolution in schools. It was here that a young high school biology teacher in Dayton, Tennessee, named John T. Scopes let himself be tried for defying it. The sensational trial proceeded in July 1925 and was perhaps one of the most bizarre trials in American history. The Scopes "Monkey" Trial went forward with lawyer giants Clarence Darrow as chief lawyer for the defense and old William Jennings Bryan (a former secretary of state) led the prosecution. Bryan insisted the world was literally created in the year 4004 BCE and that Eve was literally made from Adam’s rib. Ironically, Scopes LOST his case but was released on a "technicality" and resumed teaching evolution with no further hindrance.

Whether the world was created in 6 - 24 hour periods or 6,000 years (which is possible because 1,000 years is a day to YAHWEH [2 Pet. 3:8]) is not really the point, but obviously it was powerful men who saw Darwin’s book and orchestrated the Scopes trial as the means to further drive a wedge between YAHWEH and His people and enhance "the great falling away" started centuries before. I believe the two greatest supplantors of faith in modern man are; evolution and insurance companies!

Scientists are so frustrated with their lack of success in convincing the people that they came from apes, that in 1999 an interesting AP article appeared titled "Scientists Hope More Effective Teaching Will Counter Creationists!" What gall! Written by AP reporter Justin Pope (no relation?) this article originating from a meeting of scientists in Boston, states, "Scientists have made enormous progress building upon the THEORY of evolution, first proposed by Charles Darwin" (Now we know he was NOT the first to propose this theory). "But scientists are particularly puzzled by one unsolved mystery, why do so many people continue to have their doubts?" The article goes on to say "A Gallup Poll conducted found 47 percent of Americans believe God created human beings, while 49 percent accept the theory of evolution." No wonder Time Magazine has pushed through the finding of the "missing link" in 2000 and 2001, though it doesn’t even fit into "their" timeframe of man’s evolution! It goes on to say "I think all that shows is most Americans are woefully badly educated in science which is our fault, not theirs, said Harvard Paleontologist Stephen Jay Gould." Further on it states that "Gould is one of several prominent scientists involved in a New Evolution Education Research Center based at Harvard and McGill University in Montreal. Their premise is that Americans....aren’t being convincingly taught the science that supports the theory." Going on, the article states "If students understand well evolution, but for religious reasons say; I cannot accept that...we in the educational community say we respect that." (Note the wording!) Speaking of "their" center, the center plans to disseminate its research through teachers, conventions, and seminars and a website. But the main target is university level science education professors who will train the next generation of high school teachers! Look out, brethren, and start home schooling, or you will raise a monkey’s uncle!

"In a study of 1,200 college freshmen, they found 45 percent of those who doubted evolution had misunderstandings of the science which confirms the theory - for instance, carbon dating techniques. One last thing the article mentions was that "In 1987 the U.S. Supreme Court barred states from requiring the teaching of creationism in public schools when evolution is taught." We’ve come a long way, baby, from 1925 when Scopes LOST his "monkey" trial!

To make a long story longer, let’s briefly go through the invertebrate fossils in the record which definitely blow Dollo’s Law of Irreversibility out of the water. At Texas A&M my senior Paleontological thesis was on "The Evolutionary Trends of the Trilobite." Without arguing about age (because dating methods such as radiocarbon dating are so inaccurate, not to mention it was thought of due to an Academy of Sciences Youth Contest in 1947 and won by a 14 year old boy - then in the same year developed by the "Big Boys") we will concentrate on morphology.

The very oldest Trilobites were made up of 18 to 44 segments and were up to 8 inches long. These include species such as Elliptocephala asophoides and others needless to relate here. What is important is that these trilobites could roll up like a sow bug (or doodle bug), a characteristic they supposedly lost between this species and their modern ancestors, the horseshoe crab.

Optisthoparian trilobites attained the largest size of all of these creatures, up to 2.5 feet long! These came just a little later than the previous species spoken of. The smallest trilobites are the Agnostids, mostly in the range of 0.3 inches. They are the start of the disruption of Dollo’s Law because they were blind, but their later descendants could see with single optic eyes. THEN some went blind again, then having even having even developing to the point (in later species) of having complex compound eyes!

The vast variety of Trilobites over the ages and the individual morphological variations are myriad and useless for the layman, so just keep in mind that, for the most part, they went from many segmented animals to having few skeletal segments (thus their ability to roll up SEEMED to disappear) as the segments got less more of the posterior segments fused. BUT WAIT - right in the middle of all this "progression" we have an impossible (according to Dollo’s Law) regression to the ability to roll up its exoskeleton (by "their" standards millions of years after. Yet millions of years before becoming cut down to only the 2 segmented horseshoe crab!) Thus usurper of Dollo’s Law was knows as the Ordavician age, kirkella genera, especially the species K. Vigilans which could roll up again! By its decrease in fused segments is has turned the clock back to the start of the trilobite lineage and prospered! Then the fused non-rolling trilobites continued on. Several other species of the like popped up here and there till their virtual extinction - But what about Dollo’s Law? It seems to be a flawed "Law" by these standards!
Another example of "backwards" evolution is seen in the gastropod (snail) Bucanopsis line. Early on the smooth shelled Bucanopsis gave a line of sub-species which finally produced the ridge-backed Pharkido-donditis. Seen as an anomaly, this gastropod was seen as a fluke because of the ridge running down its back (seen only lightly in the earliest of the line). The Bucanopsis then went on through the ages till I found a sub-species in MUCH later rock strata. This unknown sub-species I found, had a very prominent ridge down its back ages past any "possibility" of such. My A&M professor could not identify it and it still sits in my vast collection of invertebrates, unclassified. Yet another thorn in the side of Dollo’s "Law!" I could go on with other creepy creatures, but what is the point? There is no point in establishing a "Law" which has so many exceptions so it cannot be a "Law" at all!

Now we can get to what everyone wants to know about, early man. As stated in Bro. Healan’s article, science is constructing full skulls, etc. of the likes of Ardipithecus ramidus kadabba from mere bone fragments. It is interesting to note that fully human "ancient man" has been found, nearly, and in some cases completely intact (YAHWEH'S will, no doubt). Such a case is Texepan Man, found in 1947 from a gravel pit north of Mexico City. Other examples will follow herein, but first a comment must be made as to just what they teach at the leading universities. It is bizarre to note that there are references in university text books to such fictional accounts as George Orwell’s "Animal Farm." The reference referred to is where the pig named "snowball’ defines just what a human is!

Due to the ridiculous premises relating man to Ceboidea (New World monkeys), Cercopithecoidea (Old World monkeys) and Pongidae (the great apes) we will skip their satanic "logic" and go on to the early man stages (or Hominidae). The mutation theory (mentioned earlier) doesn’t hold water when faced by the scientific "fact" (put forth by the scientists themselves) that evolution is too long a process to be seen in a single lifespan! (I hope I don’t need to use 2 more pages explaining the implications of this!). The weak support for evolution also rests on concepts like "vestigial organs." These are organs present in a body but no longer used (like our tonsils, used to filter bacteriological junk from the unclean foods men were eating in mass and wisdom teeth used for cracking hard shell items, etc.).

So that the scientists do not have to look at the whole picture of evolution (because the mathematical odds of such changes, en mass, become astronomical!), they use what are known as "guide fossils" to gauge ALL life, and its changes (very confining and very convenient for them!).

Though Australopithecus looks to be clearly a non-hominidae (and classified as such) it was a herbivor and worth mentioning due to the fact that this is where the Homo erectus (man) and non-Homo erectus (monkey) line is drawn. The "missing link," by necessity, must come between the two. From what I can understand about these new finds of the "missing links" Orrorin tugenesis and Ardipithecus ramidus kadabba, they don’t even fit within their own timeframe of between Australopithecus and Homo erectus!

Homo erectus is considered by science (and rightly so) to be the first true species of man. Though there is a variability in Homo erectus, all have much more complete original skulls found and many have stone implements found with and around them. The first found in this line are Pithecanthropus erectus (or Java Man) and Sinanthropus pekinesis (or Peking Man). That ol’ devil Dr. Louis Leakey has done as much for substantiating erectus’s set-apartness as he has covered over the other significant finds which "don’t fit in" with present scientific knowledge. Magazines like "Time" are the WORST possible sources for truth about evolution (and many other subjects.). Time has always slanted their articles in favor of ANYTHING that ANY Leakey says, Louis, Richard, Mary and other relatives. (A whole other article, believe me!)

Louis Leakey, in 1963, found a skull cap of Homo erectus in Olduvai Gorge. These finds indicate Homo erectus was widely dispersed in Asia and Africa. It is admitted that Homo erectus had an axial skeleton and limbs quite similar to modern man and considerably more advanced than Australopithecus. Brain capacity in modern man ranges from 1200cc to 1500 cc and early Homo erectus had around a 1300 cc brain (not exactly a great evolutionary jump!).

The interesting thing along with these morphological differences are that stone implements are found from the start of Homo erectus. Erectus’s teeth were also very similar, or as the scientists put it "essentially modern" to today’s man. As we step up the inter-species ladder we quickly come upon Homo sapien, the first being Homo Neanderthalensis (named because the initial specimen was found in the Neander Valley, near Dusseldorf, Germany.). Since then it has been recognized that Neanderthal Man ranged across the entire expanse of the old world.

Though they had a larger brow and seemingly a chinless face, they were no doubt modern man. They were sturdy men, well adapted to colder climates than erectus. Neanderthal Man had a very complete culture with a wide range of tools and lived in societies (though preferring to live in caves). They hunted the ancestor to our modern cattle the Auroch, and having and using fire at will from their hearths in their caves.

There is also evidence they constructed shelters of animal hides, sticks, and bones. But most significant of all, they no doubt, had rituals of burnt animals and other ritual rites such as cave paintings, as well as burial rites (as some are found in their graves with household items, etc.). This indicates to both me, and the scientists, Neanderthal Man believed in an after life! Why do you think, brethren, would an animal in whole form with no bones missing, yet obviously burnt, happen? Not to mention some were found on stone "fireplaces" and early man had a real taste for bone marrow, and these particular bones were not crecked! Sounds like a burnt sacrifice to me! Concerning erectus, the cave atmosphere remained ideal for the preservation of twigs, leaves, grass, and feathers. South African pre-historian Adrian Boshier was quoted "practically everything we found was three times older than the books said it should have been." Quite a paradox considering "they" teach students the "laws" concerning the dating of such organic articles. The Argon method of dating say one thing while radiocarbon dating say another. Sounds like they are borrowing from Lucifer to pay Satan!

Then comes Cro-Magnon Man who closely resembles modern European man. It seems Cro-Magnon man (or Homo sapiens sapiens) wiped out Neanderthal Man possibly over hunting grounds. It is science’s contention that the more advanced Cro-Magnon Man wiped out Neanderthal Man, but what is downright curious is "they" cannot find hardly any deposits which contain both! Does it make sense the two warring species killed one another given they are found in different rock strata? No! Why? Because if one group slew the other there would still be deaths in both groups in the same ground (there are always at least some losers on both sides). There is only one theory that makes sense to me, which is that the beastial early man was pre-flood man and Cro-Magnon Man (or Homo sapiens sapiens as we are still known as) is post-flood man.

One of the best examples of Cro-Magnon’s middle development was found in a rock shelter of skhül or on the slopes of Mount Carmel in Palestine. This Cro-Magnon Man marks the exact mid-point between Neanderthal Man and Modern Man. From this point on it is pointless to pin-point each achievement of man. From art to organized religion, from weapons to plows, all were developed quite early and just improved over the ages.

When we speak of early man - primarily Neanderthal Man who can be sure we are not speaking of pre-flood man? Did this beast-man look so ape-like because the hearts of men were so wicked they started looking like their hearts dictated? Was Noah and his offspring the few (if only) men which still looked closer to the image of YAHWEH, because Noah’s line kept YAHWEH'S precepts? These are important questions because, if so, it would explain why YAHWEH brought them over the flood as the primogenitors to Abraham, Isaac, Moses, etc. Did early man forsake the wise diet which YAHWEH ordained a special creation to eat? We know Adam started this possible trend by purposefully eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Did Cain’s descendants continue in an evil diet as well as a heart full of wickedness? If so, "you are what you eat" takes a new, far more significant meaning! Did Satan make sure we found these throw-backs so as to found the doctrine of evolution, which subverts (in the minds and hearts of many) the creating of man and the universe by YAHWEH? We think so, most definitely!

Another question might be asked - Did ALL man at the time look such as these early ape-men? We think not, for Noah came from Adam’s good line, so where was his like kine? Did a non-beast man line flourish as well and live near, but not with the beast men? Possibly so, but their hearts may have become evil in a different way, maybe even in their own science.

In the London Museum is a artifact which might bear this out! Is this artifact, though stupendous in its implications, openly displayed? No! Why? Because ANYTHING which does not fit into "sound" anthropological morphology is filed away till "they" can explain it! The artifact in question is a sandal print which has been preserved in sandstone. What is so special about this sandal print? Well, for one, it was in very early rock strata and it shows stitching around its perimeter. Secondly it has a short heel (all indicating, organized, methodical effort on the part of its maker), and thirdly, it has a crushed trilobite under its fore piece!! If not a hoax (which is the first line of defense of an anthropologist/archeologist when they find something that does not fit in to their scientific scheme of things- like finding a battery in ancient Egypt - probably to electroplate) then this sandal print is astounding in its implications! No doubt, if this is real (and the circumstances under which it was found certainly point to that it is) this man would have had to be walking the beach 600 million years ago, by "their " standards (Man supposedly came on the scene (Homo erectus) 1-1.5 million years ago, according to your biology teacher in school). Of course, the Scopes Monkey Trial in July 1925 created these Satan inspired biology teachers, because before the trial, it was a crime to teach other than creationism! Darwin was a dupe like Eve, but Scopes purposefully ate of the evolutionary apple, opening to mankind, some one thousand nine hundred years after YAHshua was murdered on that stake, a doctrine that is most responsible (along with insurance companies) for the loss of faith in a Creator, and thus evolution re-impales our Savior every time it is taught in our "modern" society!

Now back to the sandal print, which has now been assigned to "odd facts" books and "great hoax" treatises. This sandal wearer was walking the beach, no doubt, because the trilobites (the ancient ancestor of the horseshoe crab) can not stray far from the shoreline. So did a non-beast man society live near the shores (maybe so they could take to the water when Neanderthal man made war?), possibly so. Is this where the stories of an advanced civilization living near the shore, which was wiped out by a flod, called Atlantis came from? Possibly so! Even our eastern shore ocean is called the Atlantic.

Is this the only such footprint found by modern scientists? No! I personally know of one other in Glenrose, Texas. Though no where near as distinct as the one found by British Paleontologists, by my observation of its uncovering by bulldozers using cables to turn over massive limestone slabs, it is contemporaneous with the surrounding dinosaur prints. It was found along the Paluxy River, and though barefoot and fairly indistinct in detail, it did look distinctly like a modern man’s footprint. Admittedly it was worn and is open to specualtion.

This speculation grew deeper because there was a hoax at Glenrose years earlier when a man claimed to find a handprint right alongside dinosaur prints. At least 3 types of dinosaur prints are found at Glenrose, one having spreading toes (though it had 3 in front and one to the side back of the foot). A hoaxter took such a print and through unknown means carved out an extra appendage and reformed the back toe into a "thumb." I’ve seen this "print and good gosh, this poor caveman must have had a dislocated thumb because it was so far askew in proportion to the other "fingers!" Quickly upon expert examination (not mine of course) it was uncovered as a hoax (though many a Baptist minister was sure it was real), thus further muddying the evolutionary waters. But - the footprint uncovered (I was there with a small group of A&M Paleontology students) was under a ton and a half piece of limestone!

At first I was skeptical, but once I fit my own foot into it I felt sure this was no naturally occurring depression. I took a vote (to my professor’s dismay) and all the students present believed it to be a human footprint. The instructor, though, made it clear it HAD to be a naturally occurring depression because man had not come on the scene yet! Great logic, huh? Anyone wishing more information on this, contact the Glenrose Dinosaur Park personnel, but don’t expect them to confirm it was human! I believe they still show the hoax handprint but the footprint has mysteriously worn even more than the day it was uncovered and park personnel will reluctantly show you the area it can be found. Once again "big" science probably obscured the truth.

Was the Glenrose handprint the only hoax perpetrated by "scientists?" Not by a longshot! Have there been found actual examples of ancient animals, thought to be extinct for "millions" of years? Definitely Yes! There have been many reports of the "found" missing link, such as Piltdown Man in Sussex, England, in 1912, Mary leakey’s find in 1975 in Tanzania, and Drs. Johanson and White’s find of Australopithecus afarensis (or "Lucy") in 1979, but none including the recent 2000 and 2001 finds stack up to more than a monkey’s uncle, skeletally (though few bone fragments were found), morphologically, nor timeframe wise. NONE are near as complex as Homo erectus.

Back to hoaxes and lost animals. Dr. J. S. Weiner an anthropologist at Oxford University, found that he did not think the Piltdown Man was authentic, and proceeded to uncover the greatest fraud perpetrated in modern evolutionary science. Various inconsistencies led him to believe Piltdown Man (one of the missing links which had been "found") was not possible. He thought the teeth of Piltdown Man were filed. So, taking a chimpanzee tooth, Weiner filed and stained it, producing almost an exact replica of a Piltdown tooth! Dr. Kenneth Oakley helped Weiner to further test Piltdown fragments in 1953 (remember it was found in 1912) and the results proved conclusively that although the skull was a genuine fossil the all important jaw was a cunningly stained fake. The jaw belonged to a modern orangutan, and the teeth had been filed down before staining! No one was ever positively identified as the hoaxter, but everything points to Charles Dawson, a highly respected lawyer and amateur geologist.

Another example of evolutionary theory gone awry is in the fish the Coelancanth. Supposedly extinct for 400 million years, it turned up alive and well off the coast of Africa in 1938. Professor J. L. B. Smith found that the live specimen had every characteristic of those found whole in rock, dating (by science’s methods) 200-400 million years old! So it seems Dollo’s Law and evolution, in general, doesn’t happen to every organism. Given this, what OTHER exceptions are there? I could give technical evidence on many others but it suffices to say, besides the Coelacanth, horses thought extinct since the Eocene period were found in remote areas alive and well. Cattle like the ancient Auroch (mentioned earlier) have been found differing only slightly, and so on, and so on, and so on, ad infinitum!

So, in conclusion, it is fairly safe to say Homo erectus and Neanderthal Man was pre-flood man and Cro-Magnon (Homo sapiens sapiens) was post-flood man. Therefore, if you believer there is a solid foundation built for being a "monkey’s uncle," using the changes in garden peas or primroses, or you want to see yourself as a successful mutant, more power to you. You’ll need it! Or if you feel the very biased and limited selections of "guide fossils" (chosen by scientists with vested interests such as fame, ego and being surrogate creators) correctly reflects changes into new species of ALL organisms and does not merely designate sub-species of the same chromosome count, this treatise has failed!

As for me and my household, we stand behind YAHWEH, Creator of all that we behold, and are yet to behold in the New Jerusalem!

Anytime you are tempted to think YAHWEH is not necessary .. think about His clever way of handling these scientists!

One day a group of scientists got together and decided that man had come a long way and no longer needed Elohim. So they picked one scientist to go and tell Him that they were done with Him.

The scientist walked up to YAHWEH and said, 'YAHWEH, we've decided that we no longer need you. We're to the point that we can clone people and do many miraculous things, so why don't you just go on and get lost.'

YAHWEH listened very patiently and kindly to the man. After the scientist was done talking, YAHWEH said, 'Very well, how about this? Let's say we have a man-making contest. 'To which the scientist replied, 'Okay, great!'

But YAHWEH added, 'Now, we're going to do this just like I did back in the old days with Adam. 'The scientist said, 'Sure, no problem' and bent down and grabbed himself a handful of dirt.

YAHWEH looked at him and said, 'No, no, no. You go get your own dirt!'

We are in receipt of a couple of letters from a brother who is being held in the Eloy Detention Center in Eloy, Arizona. Since his incarceration, he has come to the knowledge of YAHWEH and YAHshua and their commands. He has repented and embraced their ways and is seeking to obey as well as he can under the extenuating circumstances. The man’s name is Dirk Lemcke and we want to recount the events and persecution that he has suffered lately.

He recently wrote us a letter dated Oct. 2, 2002 which begins, Greetings in the most precious name of YAHWEH El Shaddai and YAHshua Hamachiach. The student unto the Elders Beloved of YAHWEH, my prayers have been upon thee and for thee all. It’s my prayer all was well, and all had a great feast of tabernacles. As you can now see, I’ve been called to martyr and suffer for the way, HalleluYAH, Qodesh La YAHWEH, Holy, Holy, Holy YAHWEH El Shaddai, Who was, and is, and will be Amein, Selah.

Beloved Elder Jerry Healan, Bless you. Know how much you have made me able to stand and sir, stand I will, for YAHWEH is great and greatly to be praised. I’m now waiting on the D.H.O. They don’t know what to do. They are so far out on a limb. Sir, I’m not a prisoner and I’m not a slave unto C.C.A. or U.S.A. or INS. I’m a 39 year resident alien and am a USA veteran Of 6 years, U.S. Army (80-86) who is in a real prejudiced justice system suffering more injustice at the hands of an unholy man for his vanity. But I am a vessel of YAHWEH, and He has put a spirit upon me to win this wrong and martyr all of Eloy and more, HalleluYAH.

On the 21st (Sept.), 5:30 a.m., they called me out. I said it was a Sabbath and showed my pocket calendar. They said to go back to your room, then called me out 10 min. later, did not even give me time or ask me how we can work this out, but ordered me to work. But the Spirit in me was crying "NO!" So I said NO, I can’t I’d be cursed.

They took me to the hole (solitary confinement). I have done nothing wrong. Am I the only one that can’t have religious services? (End of excerpts from his letter.)

Brother Lemcke had submitted a request to the unit Chaplain to be able to observe the true Biblical holy days as delineated in Lev. 23, the Sabbath and annual holy days. He had spoken to the Chaplain previously and the Chaplain had advised that he submit it on their request forms. Brother Lemcke obliged and tried to deliver it to the Chaplain several times, but he was always told that the Chaplain wasn’t available. The request form advises the person to not give it to any other staff member as it will only cause delay. But time was running out so Dirk did the next best thing, he slipped the request under the Chaplain’s door. The Chaplain denied his request and ordered him to work. When the guards came to get Brother Lemcke for his work, he refused because it was the Sabbath.

According to the form sent with his letter, Brother Lemcke was in solitary confinement (called the hole) for 10 days. When he was released, he volunteered to go back and paint it. They allowed him to do so and now want him as one of their permanent painters.

Brother Lemcke has tried to reason with the Chaplain, but to no avail. He submitted various papers, etc. concerning the incident, but the Chaplain refuses to even look at them. However, because of his attitude to cooperate and volunteer to work on the regular work days, the incident was expunged from Brother Lemcke’s record. He also has been placed in another building under another Chaplain’s direction, whom, according to Brother Lemcke, respects our faith and will work with him, HalleluYAH!!!

Brother Lemcke has asked us to pray for the offended Chaplain. His name is Fred Doidge. This is the right thing for us to do which is the example of our own Savior YAHshua. If we would not only follow the example of our Savior YAHshua, but Brother Lemcke’s example here, things would work out much better for us all.

YAHshua warned that we would have to suffer for His sake, "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for My name’s sake, because they know not Him That sent Me….These thing have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth Elohim service," Jn. 15:18-21; 16:1-2.

Our calling for acceptance to YAHWEH and His kingdom causes us to reject this world and its kingdoms. The world wants us to love it, accept it, and play by its rules. When the world and those in it realizes that we are truly no longer a part of it, then it turns on us in hatred and persecutes us.

The Apostle Peter writes, "Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; having your conversation honest among the Gentiles (unbelievers): that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify YAHWEH in the day of visitation," 1 Pet. 2:11-12.

Notice that! The true believer will be evil spoken of UNTIL THE DAY OF VISITATION! The walk of a true believer is a very lonely walk indeed concerning our trek in this world, because we are as Abraham was, strangers and pilgrims in this world. True believers are few and far between in this present evil world. And besides all this they will suffer persecution.

Continuing in 1 Pet., "Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Sovereign's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of YAHWEH, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: as free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of YAHWEH. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear YAHWEH. Honour the king. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward Elohim endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? But if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with YAHWEH. For even hereunto were ye called; because the Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow His steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth: Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him That judgeth righteously," vv. 13-23.

Our walk is a walk of honesty and righteousness. We must not live a life contrary to the commands of YAHWEH, nor must we live a life contrary to the commands of men, except when the commands of men are contrary to the commands of YAHWEH. Thus, even though they may speak evil of us because of our faith in YAHWEH, when YAHshua returns they will speak well of us because of our walk in obedience to the commands of YAHWEH and men.

YAHshua decreed, "Blessed (happy) are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed (happy) are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you," Mt. 5:10-12.

Brother Lemcke suffered not only for his observance of the Sabbath, but for the Messiah's sake! His letters are letters of power, faith and rejoicing! His actions revealed to those who were dealing with him that he was sincere in his faith, not lazy, nor contrary, nor disobedient to them. Therefore, he was exonerated. HalleluYAH!!!

Let us live by that same example.

Joshua Chumbley is a young man who is suffering from the rigors of Muscular Dystrophy or like disease. He is confined to a wheel-chair and has very limited muscular control. He was baptized in the Spring of 2000 in London, Kentucky.

What’s been happening there in TX Bro. Jerry? I just want to say thank you for sending me your newsletter each month. I have learned subjects that help me grow and gain more knowledge of the Scriptures. I wrote down the verses in John that you discussed on the Holy Spirit from the fundamentals of faith in one of your past newsletters. I, myself, did an in-depth study on the Holy Spirit. I discovered the comforter is our guide, teacher, helper, comforter and provider. He is all we need today if we will put our trust in Him. We as believers have power over all the forces of evil by the comforter (Lk. 10:19-20).

You and I have the anointing that is truth and is no lie (1 Jn. 2:27). When I repented of my sins, I received the Holy Spirit in my life (1 Jn. 4:13, Lk. 11:15). I was sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise (Eph. 1:13), and baptized into the body by the Spirit (1 Cor. 12:13). YAH gave us power (Ro. 8:9-16). The comforter helps our needs (v. 26).

YAHWEH gave us His Spirit to know things of Him (1 Cor. 2:11-12). YAHshua said the comforter would testify of Me (Jn. 15:26). The Spirit of truth guides us into all the truth (Jn. 16:13, 14:16-17). Now the Master is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Master is there is freedom (2 Cor. 3:17). YAHWEH is Spirit, not a ghost (Jn. 4:24).

YAHWEH said My Spirit will not always strive with man (Gen. 6:3). Without the Holy Spirit we all would be in a huge mess, lost without hope.

Praise YAH today that He called us with His lovingkindness to save us from sin, HalleluYAH!!! (Jer. 31:3) YAHshua bought the Church with his own blood (Acts 20:28). We are not our own, we are bought with a great price (1 Cor. 6:19-20).

I also learned in the article Fundamentals of Faith that the body is one but has many members (1 Cor. 12:12-27, Ro. 12:4-5). The local assembly down the road is not the whole body, but members of that body. We, the Church, have a calling that YAHshua has given to each one of us (Ro. 12:4-8, 1 Cor. 12:28-31, Eph. 4:11) for the edifying of the Church.

I am overjoyed, Bro. Healan, that you have presented these articles. I wrote them down in my notebook. The more I study on these areas, the more I understand and receive wisdom and knowledge through YAH'S word. An ossuary has been discovered in Israel which may have been the burial box of James, the brother of YAHshua. One brother wrote, "What are your thoughts on this ossuary (bone box) found in Israel that is so inscribed as belonging to James, the brother of the Messiah??

I recently saw a clear photograph of the inscription and it most definitely depicts the Savior's name as being "Yeshua"...where does this leave us as we have striven to teach the "Christians" for many years—names do not change from one language to another, especially when discussing two sister languages such as the Aramaic of this inscription and the Hebrew language? They even share the same aleph-beit! Do we dogmatically hang on to "YAHshua" in much the same manner as the Christians hang on to "Jesus" even when faced with archeological evidence dated to approx. A.D. 62 (according to the New York Times)? We are awaiting your thoughts…

I saw the newsreels and also have the Biblical Archeology Review magazine (Nov.—Dec. 2002) with an article concerning the ossuary. I clearly heard the man on television enunciate the name of the Savior and it definitely wasn’t pronounced as "Yeshua." However, neither was it pronounced "YAHshua." It was pronounced as "Yoshua." (The "Yo" sounded more like "Yoe" or the English equivalent would be "Joe."

It has long been our contention that there are three acceptable spellings of the Savior's name. It can be spelled [vwhy, or [wvwhy, or [wvy, because these three spellings are certified by the Scriptures themselves.

Any Hebrew to English dictionary will present the name [vwhy as Yehowshua when relating to the Hebrew pronunciation, but then transliterates it into the English as Joshua which when we replace the "J" with a "Y," yields YAHshua.

We know that there are those who are so adamant in an "exact" pronunciation to the point of condemning any who don’t pronounce the names of the FATHER and Savior the same as theirs. This is being exclusive and actually Pharisaical.

We know that modern day Hebrew pronounces the letters why as "Yahu." Evidently, modern day Aramaic pronounces it as "Yeho" or "Yoe," which seems closer to the Hebrew dictionaries’ rendering of the name [vwhy.

Don’t think that I haven’t toyed around with the various spellings and their enunciations before, because I have. I have considered the name of the Savior as being Yeshua, YAHshua, Yehowshua, or even Yoeshua (actually, I could write this as Yoshua, I just present it as Yoeshua for the purposes of pronunciation) in times past.

The only reason that I have stuck with YAHshua is that the most current acceptable pronunciation of the Heavenly FATHER'S name is YAHWEH. Also, there are certain Jewish Rabbis who have embraced the names YAHWEH and YAHshua. These men learned the Hebrew language from their youth and utilize the name YAHshua.

This will open up a can of worms for some, however. If [wvy is pronounced like Yoshua (Yoeshua) in the Aramaic, and [vwhy is pronounced as Yehowshua in the Hebrew (two sister languages with very similar pronunciations), then the pronunciation of the FATHER'S name may be Yehoweh or Yoweh (Yeoweh). I, personally, have considered this before and certainly wouldn’t reject anyone who prefers this pronunciation.

One of the problems in the Sacred Name movement is that there are those who are adamant that their enunciation of the names is exactly correct. They continually condemn others who pronounce the names somewhat differently than themselves. The variations in spelling and pronunciation of the Names, of course, presents a hey-day for Christianity which continually states that it is not 100% certain that the pronunciation of the name of the FATHER is YAHWEH. While this is true, it is 100% certain that the FATHER'S name was never God, nor the Lord, nor was the name of the Savior ever Jesus.

Why not look at ourselves with the reality that we really don’t know the exact pronunciation of the FATHER'S name, but we are coming as close as we can for the moment. Besides, another argument of mine has been that we must give way to dialectic differences. I know some people who have a difficult time pronouncing YAHWEH because, in their language, the "w" is pronounced like a "v." Thus, the enunciation comes out more like "YAHVEY" than "YAHWEH." Others, when attempting to say YAHshua, come closer to saying Yeshua. We must allow for dialectic differences. There are, of course, assemblies which utilize YAHVEY or YAHVAH rather than YAHWEH. Even most of today’s Jewish people prefer YAHVEH to YAHWEH.

Does it matter? What matters is that we come out of falsehood and idolatry. We know that the terms God, Jesus, Baal (the Lord), etc. come from idolatry. While utilizing the term "the lord" as an appellative is acceptable, to utilize it or any other word as a substitute for His Name is not. We should get as close to the truth as we can, but beware of those who think that they are experts of the Hebrew language. The Hebrew language is a living language and will have different dialects just as the English, German, Greek and any other language.

We still prefer the pronunciation YAHshua because of the English name Joshua. However, we could also write it as Yoshua and give others the right of pronunciation. For those who prefer Yeshua, we also have no problem. For those who prefer Jesus….Houston, we have a problem. JH

YAHWEH'S Evangelical Assembly had a most wonderful, peaceful and fruitful feast of tabernacles this year. There were about 10 different speakers who were able to impart valuable spiritual lessons to the brethren. We truly appreciate all messages and the input from each one. A list of the videos should be available in the next newsletter.

We were blessed with the presence of Evangelist Willie Beard for about 5 days. Those who know him also know that he is a very accomplished musician. His musical contribution to the feast along with Johnny Emerline and Jim Kneberg was a great blessing indeed. Of course, we had the various medley of beautiful voices of the brethren to lift up songs of praise and thanksgiving to YAHWEH and YAHshua. The owner of the property where we were observing the feast, also joined in some of the singing and praises with his special instrument, the autoharp. The little children were also such a delight. They all exhibited great excitement and desire to come before the assembly to sing their own special praises to YAHWEH and YAHshua.

Our feast was also fruitful in other ways. We had a couple of baptisms as well as an ordination. Yohance Branch was ordained as an elder in the body of the Messiah. We have known the Branch family for quite some time now. Yohance has exhibited the desire to serve YAHWEH as long as we have known him. Even as a teenager Yohance exhibited his desire to obey YAHWEH above his zeal and desire to play sports in school and college. He has always made a stand for Sabbath day observance and placed that in importance over his job, sports and anything else that may have seemed to tempt him. His messages from the pulpit have also been very instructive and wise. Therefore, upon prayer and consultation with Elder Willie Beard, we chose to ordain him to the office of elder. This was presented before the assembly giving anyone and everyone the opportunity to either agree or disagree. None spoke negatively. He was ordained on fifth day of the feast, the 26^th of September. It is our prayer that he will be very productive in the body of the Messiah, serving YAHWEH, YAHshua and their sheep.

Two more brethren were also added to the body of the Messiah. Marissa Branch and Arvel Kirk were baptized. Marissa was baptized on Friday the 27^th while Arvel was baptized on Sabbath the 28^th of September. Our prayers go out to them that they will remain true and faithful to the calling that they have responded to, growing in the grace and knowledge of YAHshua the Messiah until the day of His appearing or the end of their lives, whichever comes first.

The Healans have decided that they will not host a feast of tabernacles next year. They do understand that there are those who host the feast year after year and that is great, but the Healans desire to travel elsewhere from time to time and have chosen to forego that honor and privilege next year. The Emory congregation is toying with the idea of hosting a feast next year if they can get the necessary things in order to be able to do so. We will keep you informed of these plans in later newsletters.

They offer praise and thanks to YAHWEH and YAHshua for blessing them to be able to host the feast of tabernacles for the last couple of years. It has truly been a blessing to serve the brethren and to experience the fellowship and the joys of rejoicing with others. They know that, in a way, they will miss not hosting the feast, but they are looking forward to attending elsewhere and rejoicing with others in whatever area YAHWEH leads them.

We have also received reports from Elder Rodulfo Dagohoy and Brother George Paña concerning the feast observances in the Philippines. The feast was held on Luzon Island in the Metro Manila area headed by Elder Orland Alcasid, on Visayas: Bohol—Guindulam led by Elder Bruce Mahilum and Evangelist Ephraim Licayan, on Cebu at Taloot, Argao led by Elder Lot Alisna, on Leyte at Baybay led by Elder Graciano Mazo, on Mindinao at Baluarte, Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City led by Elders Rodulfo Dagohoy and Elida Flores, at Davao City led by Elders Nic Messias and Sofronio Tadle, in Zamboanga City by Elder Eddie Tadea, and in Maramag, Bukidnon led by brother George Paña. We have not received a feast report from Elder Intong at the time of putting this newsletter together.

We praise YAHWEH for all of our Philippine brethren. We know that there are problems and differences there similar to those here in the states, but that just comes about in people dealing with people. The main point is that YAHWEH and YAHshua are being served there as well as here and their people are being blessed in doing so.

Elder Dagohoy’s group has been able to purchase a printing press and have published the Scriptures in the Cebuano language. These Scriptures do utilize the Sacred Names, of course. While this version of the Scriptures must be sold due to the expense of publishing, they have informed us that they are making free copies available to the indigent. We understand how difficult this is, because of our own efforts to furnish Sacred Name Scriptures to the indigent. The list becomes endless while the funds are not, but we do the best we can.
