Below are some early interior
pictures I received
when I was looking to
buy my 68 Morgan 24.

This
is a picture of my mast hinge arrangement. The original
aluminum mast shoe casting had been broken both on the front and the
back. In order to make the mast pivot, I added a
Stainless bracket I purchased at Dyer Mast Co. After
cutting out the center and enlarging the rear pivot holes, I
installed the mast shoe and the bracket together on the base
of the mast. Using a 7/16 pin thru the enlarged holes of
the original mast step casting, I now had a working mast
hinge.

These
are some pictures of the bulkhead that was broken while
offshore as I participated in my second Morgan Invasion.
Pictures of the repair process and the finished result with the chainplate extension
added to ensure it would not be a problem in the future.
