Character Archetypes
Interested in playing a character other than those presented in the book(s)? I've got a list of characters here for you to choose from. They just want a chance to show off their skills too!
Mexican Wrestler
"ˇMis opositores pronto probarán el dolor de la cuerda superior devastadora que conduce plancha del sacacorchos!"
As a child you showed uncharacteristic strength and agility, but also a flair for the dramatic. In school you became interested in gymnastics, and when the time was right your father, an experienced professional wrestler in his day, took you under his wing and taught you the ins and outs of the squared circle. Before long, you found yourself leaping high off turnbuckles and throwing your opponents about the ring. You've received your share of blows to the head from a chair or two, but that hasn't prevented you from attaining pinfall after pinfall. Then came the day when you learned a little more than you should have about the behind-the-scenes action at the arena. Some guys in fancy suits and dark glasses were trying to extort money from your father. They were trying to steal from your family's livelihood! Not one to sit back and let injustice reign, you sprung into action, and gained an enemy for life. Now you have turned your unique acrobatic skills for the pursuit of equity amongst all peoples. Sure they have guns, but you have more powerful weapons: a heart of determination and a boiling fever to defeat your opponents. A life-saving backflip now and again doesn't hurt either...

Movie Star
"Line!"
You are a big time hotshot Hollywood action star with a taste for the good life. Everyone around wants to know you, get close to you, or even be you. With executives pounding down your door and scripts falling in your lap, the world is your oyster, and you've got the big paychecks to back it up. The hours are long, and perhaps you don't always see eye to eye with the crew or other cast members, but why should that bother you? You've got it made now that you're with your fourth wife, and your son has just been released from rehab. You've got credibility at the box office thanks to your real-life background in martial arts training. You can throw a punch, or take one in the gut, but as long as you look good doing it, that's the only thing that matters, right? Lately you've become a bit jaded about the whole system, seeing only the greed and dubiousness of an industry that once produced real art. You've turned down more roles for a mindless sequel then you've seen quality screenplays hit your agent's desk. Maybe someday that choice role will come along and earn you a major award, but you are too wary of the danger of being typecast. In your career you've played everything from a multinational spy to a hard luck gambler to a trained assassin. There are guys out there in the world who do that sort of thing that you only pretend to do, on the big screen. Maybe that's what's really missing: a chance to make a real difference. Sure, you've donated millions to various charity organizations, but how many of those know how to jump through a plate glass window? Perhaps it's time for a vacation and go to where the lights won't make you sweat and the cameras won't record your every move. It's just too bad that there won't be any outtakes.

This will only work on named characters once per session. 2) You gain a +2 Action Value bonus when using Deceit on unnamed characters.

Wandering Monk
"My work here is done."
You led a simple life living in the secluded mountain monastery, learning to appreciate the finer beauty of nature and the true characteristics of man. You learned to sharpen your instincts and emotions through rigorous physical, mental, and spiritual instruction. You gained valuable insight most men would never know. Then came the fateful day when your quiet life as you knew it turned upside down. Perhaps the temple you once called home was destroyed by an evil force, or that your good name was wrongfully soiled and you became a wanted man. Forced to leave the temple's solitude, you struck out in search of what everyone desires to find, your true place in the universe. Naďve to the world, you made your way down from the mountains to embrace a civilization entirely unknown to you. Here you face prejudice and danger unlike anything you've known before, but with wisdom in your mind and educated fists, you will survive.
