Transformed Animals
Although there are plenty of suitable choices in the main book, why should any other animal with a will to fight and the powerful ancestry to grow into human form be left out? Below are a number of my homebrew transformed animal packages to choose from. If one of these should make an appearance in any of your Feng Shui games, please let me know how it worked out. I would be most interested to know.

Transformed Bat
v1.0
Attribute Modifiers: Move +2, Reflexes +4
Drain
Chi Cost: 5
Shot Cost: 3
Make a bite attack with Martial Arts; opponent suffers damage equal to your Chi rating and you heal the same number of your lost Wound Points. The opponent you bite may only be affected by this once per session. However if you spend an additional schtick, your attack may be to place an opponent in a hold that renders them immobile while you continually drain them. Every 3 shots, your opponent may attempt to break the hold by making a Strength check against your Strength as the Difficulty. If they are unsuccessful, repeat the same Damage effect as noted above. If you do anything other then passively Dodge or drain, the opponent breaks the hold.
Flight
Chi Cost: 8
Shot Cost: 3
You can become airborne, and remain airborne until the end of the sequence. You may reach a maximum vertical height equal to your Move rating, and travel horizontally up to twice your Move rating. Each extra schtick adds a Move rating to vertical flight and two Move ratings to horizontal distance.
Infect
Chi Cost: 3
Shot Cost: 3
Make a bare-handed Martial Arts attack; the opponent suffers -- in addition to normal Damage -- 1 point of Impairment for every 5 Wound Points suffered (rounded down). Wound Points delivered through an Infect attack do not heal naturally; they must be treated with antibiotics or healing magic.
Radar
Chi Cost: 1
Shot Cost: 0
By listening to your radar-like sense, you can function in total darkness. Your penalty for making task checks when vision is required is reduced by 1 for each schtick bought in this ability. This lasts until the end of the sequence.

Transformed Chameleon
Note: this write-up is in no way intended to overrun upon the Chameleon package done by David Eber. It is merely my own take on these very strange, and very rare, creatures.
v1.2
Attribute Modifiers: Constitution +2, Intelligence +3, Perception +4, Willpower +3
Blend
Chi Cost: 8
Shot Cost: 1
You can make yourself invisible by hiding even behind the most inadequate of cover. As long as you don’t move, this automatically works. Anyone attempting to locate you must make a Perception check with the Difficulty equal to your Martial Arts Action Value; if they fail, you remain unseen. The number of targets you can affect depends on the number of schticks you spend in this ability. May not be used if someone is looking directly at you.
Camouflage
Chi Cost: 8
Shot Cost: special
You may alter your appearance and disguise yourself in a completely new human form. 2 of the Chi points you spend on this do not return until the end of the session. Undergoing the transformation 1 full hour of time, and can last for a number of hours equal to the number of schticks you spend in this ability. You may change back whenever you choose, but when this time is up you automatically revert back to your normal form -- which takes only 1 sequence -- during which you can make no other actions. If you spend an additional schtick on this ability, you can recreate the appearance of specific people you have studied carefully for at least a week prior to you use of the schtick.
Eyes
Chi Cost: 3
Shot Cost: 3
Your eyes can independently focus and behold two separate images. You may make two attacks in the same shot against two different targets with no penalty. By spending an extra schtick, you are also very hard to surprise. Any AV bonus an opponent might gain if they should get the drop on you is negated when they attack you.
Tongue
Chi Cost: 4
Shot Cost: 3
Make a Martial Arts attack in which you bite your opponent or stick them with your tongue; opponent suffers no Damage but instead loses X Chi points where X = Outcome of the attack. This lasts until the end of the sequence. By spending an extra schtick, this lasts until the end of the session.

If your opponent gets a higher Outcome, he breaks free of the hold. If you do anything other then passively Dodge, he also breaks free of the hold.

Grinning evilly, make a Chi check against your opponent’s Willpower. The Outcome is the number of shots they hesitate to act against you.
