The Global Educators' Network (GEN)
is an international community of online educators aimed to encourage
educator exchange and leverage experience and expertise in e-learning
models and methods. Launched in 1999 by Linda Harasim of the Virtual-U project at Simon Fraser University, GEN began as a way to link Canada's TeleLearning Network of Centres of Excellence researchers and clients but soon evolved into a global community. GEN includes free monthly online seminars led by volunteer moderators on topics of research and practice related to learning and teaching online. |
| Mentoring and Team Leadership is an online course that is part of the Pepperdine Online Master's in Educational Technology program. Margaret Riel invites you to visit this course or Learning and Technology. Many elements of both courses overlapp with other Pepperdine faculty as we work together to developing teaching ideas and share them feely. The courses have collective authorship and yet continue to evolve. |
