Course Description:
This year’s 6th Grade Science course is designed to acquaint students with Earth Science. This technology-rich course meets the Earth Science portion of the California State Standards for 6th Grade Science. Students will learn about science through demonstrations, cooperative learning groups, labs, multimedia presentations, internet research and self reflection. An emphasis will be placed upon critical thinking skills and collaboration with others to understand basic concepts of Earth science.
